I have 6 count them 6 boys upstairs hopefully sleeping.
My friend goes in for more surgery tomorrow so I have the kids for tonight and possibly tomorrow night. It only took 30 minutes to get ready for bed but then it was, I need a drink, I need to use the bathroom, etc.... I still here 1 moving around but soon they should all be asleep. DD went down at the same time too.
<sigh>

Just caught the oldest 2 playing game boy. :rotfl2: Such trouble makers, no, really they are a good group of kids. They all get along really well.
BTW the ages are 11,10,7,6,5,5....

WOW!!! You need pixie dust pixiedust:, hugs :grouphug: , and cheers :cheer2: ! You are brave and good luck to your friend!

Very impressive that you got them all upstairs, in PJs and the majority of them asleep by 10:00 pm. You deserve that drink.:goodvibes

hope you got some sleep last night!!

best of luck to your friend.:wizard:

You are a braver woman than I am.

Luckily for me, all my friends only have one or two children, so it would be a lot easier to keep them for a few nights.

Hope everyone slept okay and isn't giving you headaches about what is for breakfast.

Here's for your friend  for her surgery.

Hey Susnshine.. How did the rest of the night go?
How is the morning routine going getting ready for school???
See, you offered to come help AWM and I organize..and now you need a school bus to bring everyone!!! :)

Hope your friend has a speed recovery on her surgery!!
I'm home all day with an empty house so call if you want to chat!!! :)

So far so good, the 2 oldest came back down till 11 and then I shipped them back upstairs. Everyone slept through the night and I fell asleep on the couch. DS10 woke me up at 7 and all but 1 was up. 7:30 everyone was dressed and had clean teeth. I had my mom run out and get pop tarts for breakfast so that was easy. I had to make lunch for all of them though since 4 of them are on the same field trip today.
Can you believe we actually left 5 minutes early today!!! It's a record! LOL

My friend has her surgery at 9. She broke her leg in Feb and the screws are holding the bone this - far apart so they are not stitching together so out comes the rod and screws and will be replaced with new ones. She should be mobile in about 1 week. If her surgery is late in the day I will have them tonight too. Can we say Pizza Delivery?!?!? :rotfl2:

Wow! I love kids and all, but I don't think I could even handle that!!!! :lmao: I am saying LOTS of prayers for you!!! SCREW the pixie dust, she needs a higher power!!!! :rotfl2:

I really hope your friend makes it through this surgery OK! Especially for your sake!!! Good luck to you!

A prayer is being said for you at St. Theresa Church in Tiverton, RI on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 May God be with you...

(kidding!!!) :rotfl2: But you have to admit that was good!!!

I'll take pixie dust any day!!!! Sorry I'm not very religious, but that's another topic for another time. ;)

So update! I just got off the phone with my friend and she is home!! Talk about drive thru service. She went in at 11 was awake by 12 and outta there by 1. Crazy!!! So I'm bringing the kids home after school, then her DH is taking them to the science fair at school so she can rest.
So I'm headed back out to do recycling and get their stuff together before I have to pick everyone up.

Thanks for the well wishes!!!!
