Mostly for New Englanders....
I bought disposible emergency ponchos at Ocean State Job Lots for .88 each. Didn't expect much from them. And as expected, the plastic is very, very thin.... HOWEVER....
they had real sleeves with elastic at the cuffs and a real hood with a drawstring! I found that to be a HUGE bonus. We have spent time in themeparks wearing those big baggie PONCHOS and they are cumbersome and uncomfortable. These fit well and kept the water off my head and off my arms. (Admittedly, we only wore them for a short time during a very brief shower and during a water ride.) The drawstring hood was great on the water rides.
Just thought it might help someone!...................P
