Am I going to like this building? I was just speaking with Special services. This is the building that we have been placed in . There are only two buildings with roll in shower rooms at All Star Movies. The other building is Fantasia building that is pink and with a ballerina. We are taking two 10 year old boys. Which building is better?

Our second part of our reservation we were placed in the 50's building (Pop Century overlooking the lake. Is this a good building?

I didn't realize that special services would tell us what buildings we are in yet. Our trip is Dec17th -Jan, 5th. 08!

I have 2 DS, 10 & 7 and Mighty Ducks building is our first choice. :thumbsup2We love having the pool there and being close enough to walk to ASMU for the bus.

I guess mighty Ducks is it!

What about the Pop Century 50's building?

Mighty Ducks has a pool that looks like a hockey rink. Our room was on the first floor, faced the parking lot and ASMu, but was quiet.

We stayed at Mighty Ducks (we requested a King size bed - maybe that's where they're at?) and it was fine... definitely not girly. I'd suggest to catch the bus from All Star Music... it is closer than the one for Movies and buses stop there first so you have a better chance of getting on!

We stayed in the Mighty Ducks last year for 10 days June 2006 and I was a little disappointed when we were allocated this building but I neednt have been!

I was disappointed because my DD5 at the time wanted to stay in the Woody building!

The proximity to the smaller pool and the quiet location would make us choose the mighty ducks again.

We stayed in the Mighty Ducks section two weeks ago. We really liked it and would definitely stay there again. We could take either the Movies or Music bus, whichever arrived first back from the parks and this was a nice bonus when the parks let out with lots of people.
I expected the coffee to be horrible like many have mentioned, but we found it to be quite good. lol The pool was perfect- not crowded at all in early May. It was quiet our entire stay as well.

We have stayed in the accessible rooms in Mighty Ducks also. Good location, and yes the Music food court and bus stops are closer. Unless you pay for a preferred room at Movies and need accessible, you will be in Mighty Ducks.

We are staying in a king room with roll in shower with an adjoining double room. Special services confirmed that we will be in Mighty Ducks pool view!

I really was disappointed at first. The only other roll in shower room building was Fantasia pink building with Ballerina for boys! So we chose Mighty Ducks with pool view.....

Second part of our reservation is at Pop Century. We are staying in building 3, 50's section, lakeview upper floor!!!!

Can't wait. Couldn't believe we were told this early where we were. I guessing because this is special reqests/ special needs.

Thanks for your positive reviews:banana:

We've specially requested the MD section since landing there several trips ago. We love the pool--it's quiet in the pre-noon hours when we like to use it and I get to carry my breakfast there every morning and enjoy:hippie: it has its own laundry room too:cool1: In the wee hours after the parks close, we get off at the ASMu and walk across the roadway right up to our section. The only downside is that the walk to the main ASMo building is long...but really enjoyable. and walking is something you have to quickly build up a tolerance for anyway:lmao:

Loved Mighty Ducks location. Has it's own pool and laundry. Right between the ASMO and ASMU main buildings so take your pick. Found it to be a great spot.

POP, stayed in 50's Bldg 3, 3rd floor lakeview last time. It was my choice (have a special needs son) and we loved it. Quiet peaceful room, very short walk to our car or the main building. The bowling pin pool there tended to be less busy than other pools, and if you need it has the stairs for the wheelchair. I have the same location booked for our fall trip.
