C'mon! Everbody! What's YOUR fave resort? Why? I'm gathering any info about anything, and I thought it would be best to start here! I've only visited once, at POR, and I am coming back in 2 year for my b-day! I'm turning 16! Yay!!! I wonder... I don't know if I should go at the same boooooring resort again- I think I should go somewhere else this time, but WHERE???

If I had my choice I would opt for one of the monrail resorts - most likely the Polynesian!

There's something good to be said about ALL of the Disney resorts, but I have to admit my absolute favorite is AKL. It is just so different from all the others.

you found POR boring...

then BW - it is on the BW, and is a pretty action resort.

bc is probably too relaxed for you - although you might appreciate the pool -SLB. (storm-a-long-bay)

BC - Can walk or take boat to Epcot and MGM, walk over to the Boardwalk at night, SOB, and last but not least Beaches and Cream.

I can't believe you thought POR was booooring. :confused3 It's my favorite resort! Did you try any of the following:

Swimming at Ol' Man Isle
Boat to DTD
Surrey Bike rentals
Evening Lounge show by Piano Man Bob - this alone makes the stay at POR worthwhile!

If you truley didn't like this resort, then I would have to vote for an Epcot resort - BWI or YBC.

I'm in love with the Beach club. Love the location- being able to walk to Epcot, right across the pond from the broadwalk, love the theming, soft pastel colors, bright airy rooms. Love the pool, stromalong bay!!
Can't imagine any resort being boring though...

I took the boat to DTD and I also went to both pools! I just thought the whole tone of the coloring and the whole idea was blank. I went last year in late November. My 3rd grade and kindergarten sisters were in heaven, but Kitty (Kindergartener's nickname) was a little freaked by the plane. I basically finished homework and read a little. Princess starting reading some Disney books, and kitty did something with her dad like scream, cry, and beg to get our!

The Poly is my favorite resort...I have no desire to try out any more resorts since I've stayed there!

The GF! (With the YC a very close 2nd)

The location - one monorail stop from the MK.
The lobby - amazing
The grounds - beautifully landscaped
The rooms (this one's the clincher for me) - very spacious, double vanity bathrooms, nightly turndown service, minibar.
The number of restaurants, from 24 hour food court to 5 diamond rated restaurant
The walkway to the Polynesian (we still like to spend some time at one of our favorite themed resorts. :)
