Big River Grille Not on DDP

I called today to change my Spoodles ADR to Big River and the CM told me that it no longer participates on the DDP. When I figured out what my next choice would be and called back tonight the CM who answered said she didn't know and when she looked it up sure enough it doesn't participate anymore.

Thanks for posting, I was getting ready to call and make an ADR at Big River as we'll be staying at BCV next week.........perfect timing, guess I'll check out a few more options before calling Mickey

that is correct. it also doesn't take ADRs through disney either. you need to call them directly.

Probably because it is not a Disney owned restaurant.

We had lunch there almost two years ago and were very disappointed. The inisde needed a good cleaning and updating. Thought the food was overpriced for a non-Disney restaurant.

Our biggest complaing was a fly constantly buzzing us. Unlike Disney restaurants, Big River has only single doors leading out to the Boardwalk so it is easy for flying insects to get inside.

We have no plans of ever returning there. So many better options in the Boardwalk area resorts (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan and Dolphin).

I just booked a ressie on Friday directly with BRG & they said they do participate in the DP. I'm going to call again tomorrow & speak with a manager. Thank you.

I called & reconfirmed. They are still participating in the DP.

I called & he gave me an interesting response:

"Some restuarants will be dropping out of the plan but we are not"

Thanks, let me know how you liked it. I made a res at Wolfgang Pucks Cage instead...now not sure what to do. We don't go until Sept so I still have time to think about it.
