POP or CSR what would you do?

We were at CSR last year and I loved it!! Everything was great and perfect except the distance from the Ranchos to El Centro.

We are currently staying at POP, during free dining, but I keep thinking I would like to go back to CSR (except for the LONG walk). We would like to try out the Casitas this time as DH and I like the looks of them.

We have stayed at POP before but only for 1 night. I hated it. We were in the 80's and had an accessible room, which wasn't nice with having a little one. I am really wanting to give POP another chance and I think that DS3 would like POP more than CSR and this may be the last time we would "try" POP because as DS gets older we would more likely go to a resort that has a waterslide.

WWYD? Try POP or go back to CSR??

I prefer CSR for the Mexican/SW flair. Check out my CSR website below for pics and info.

CSR has some deluxe amenities not found at the other mods. A spa, fitness center, salon.

I've stayed at both as well, three times at POP and once at CSR. I would base my decision on how much time you'll be at the resort. We only stayed at CSR because we were there over Thanksgiving weekend and were not going into the parks for the first 3 days and were able to use the resort facilities to the max We loved the pool and Pepper Market but felt that it was too much walking too. Just going to PM was a hassle from the main pool sometimes, especially if it was something minor we wanted. We chose to stay at POP again this coming September because it takes less time to get the parks, everything is close by, and we are mainly just sleeping there as we will be there for 4 days with a 4-day tickets so...

As for what your child would like best, hands-down POP, or at least that's the way it is for my family/friends. It just feels more comfortable and kid-friendly (not that CSR isn't) and more colorful and lively. Now, if it was just adults I'd stay at neither one: I can't wait to do the Poly or Dolphin one of these days!

We loved the pool and Pepper Market but felt that it was too much walking too. Just going to PM was a hassle from the main pool sometimes, especially if it was something minor we wanted.

Why did you just use the snack bar for minor items? They have a great menu there too and you can refill mugs there as well.

The obvious answer is that whatever it is that we wanted at that moment was not available at the snackbar Can't remember exactly what was wanted by whom but at least once each day we found ourselves wishing the pool was closer to the Pepper Market and gift store.
