What the heck?!!

They took the mushroom/tenderloin dish off the meny and now there are only 2 kids options and neither one is the steak!

Please tell me this isn't really happening.

I've been dreaming about this meal and now what I want isn't there.

I believe there was a thread about this last week and it was found that the wdwinfo menu was wrong - the mushroom filet is still there. I think someone even went and took a picture of the menu and posted it.

The allearsnet.com menu was last updated in 2/07 and still has it on there.

A quick search should bring that thread up for you.

Thanks. I was just looking at the menus linked to this site and it was updated 04/07 so it was different from when I looked last month.

I remember that other thread. I can't remember if the person who actually got the mushroom filet actually saw it on the menu or just asked for it since it was a favorite of theirs. But they did get it. And this brought up the point from others that most WDW restaurants will do their best to accomodate you by giving you what you want if at all possible. A prime example is allowing people at Sci Fi to order burgers at dinner even though they are really a lunch item. So whether its the mushroom filet or something else, definitely ask if you don't see it on the menu, they might come through for you!

I went looking and found another post about this, if you look at number 8 you will see a more recent picture of the menu from 26th April with the Mushroom fillet still on it.

I was just there for lunch and dinner last week.

The mushroom filet is on the dinner menu, but not lunch. They no longer have the shrimp pasta dish (and I REALLY wanted to try it) but I had the garlic filet for lunch and mushroom filet for dinner. The now have duck on the appetizer menu, but no longer have the salmon/crab dish.

The kids menu does have steak, hot dogs, beef macaroni and I forget what else. They had either cheese soup or a cheese puff for appetizer and the did have the preplated kids meals (although, kids could pick and choose, at least our server let us).

If you look at the wdwinfo.com menu, they are missing the kids entrees section altogether on the lunch menu (not that it matters, since there isn't usually a difference, but they do usually include it). However, the steak is still there on the dinner menu, grouped under the kids' picks section. You just have to read carefully to find it, because the the kids' pick sections on the online menus are not very well formatted, making it easy to miss something.

Hate to beat a dead horse, but is the Chocolate Moose still available at all? Adult menu, kids menu, doesn't matter, I'm willing to pay oop for it, just wanted to know if the kids could get it. Lunch, if that makes a difference.

Unfortunately I don't have the dessert menu photo uploaded and its on my laptop... but as of 4/26 the Chocolate Moose was available on the dinner dessert menu. I am not sure if there is a different one for lunch, but since it appeared on the menu we saw I am guessing you could request it regardless.

We were there for dinner this past Saturday so I can only quote on dinner options. The mushroom filet was there and steak was an option for the kiddies. Chocolate mousse was only on the adult dessert menu. Kiddies can only order the standard fruit cup or ice cream sundae for dessert.

does anyone know if you can ask for them to do the maple bbq on the filet at lunch? i know they don't offer it on the lunch menu. we're going there next monday for lunch and i'm guessing DH and i will both get the filet. it would be nice to have a garlic filet that they normally serve at lunch and then also the maple bbq one so we can sample each other's! i really wanted the mushroom filet, but i've been told they absolutely cannot do them at lunch.
