Here's a little info on CSR & POR

We are on a 2-week stay at WDW. We started at CSR, will be checking out of POR tomorrow & then moving to OKW.

First time at both CSR & POR for us - first time at a moderate as we have 5 in our family & have always done deluxes. We really enjoyed both resorts. Honestly, with the exception of a room balcony, I thought they were just as nice as deluxe resorts - the rooms were a little smaller but just as nice.

CSR was a beautiful resort with a beautiful pool. Very big, very relaxing, lots of tables & chairs & plenty of space to move around at. I do have to say that we weren't impressed with the Pepper Market - not crazy about the 10% they add to every bill as it's similiar to cafeteria style with the exception of a server getting your drinks.

Loves POR - stayed on the Mansion side. What beautiful grounds they have. Really enjoyed the food court. Losts of choices - similiar to The Land. Main pool is a little small & crowded, but fun for the kids. We enjoyed one of the quiet pools more.

Anyway, I would recommend both of these resorts. It's hard to be disappointed in either on.

just got back from CSR and was so so pleasantly surprised.
we will definitely go back again.
as far as POR I agree with you about the pool

Our location at POR was not good so probably that is why I enjoyed CSR more. we were in cabana section.

We were in the Casita's section - Casitas 5. It was between the main building & the Dig Site pool.

It was a good walk to both, but the landscaping is so scenic, that it was a very pleasant walk.
