Electric Water Pageant?

Does the EWP always begin at 9 PM? I've only ever seen it after Wishes, so not sure if it follows the fireworks each night or is always at 9 PM....??

I believe it always follows this route:

Electrical water PR 9p, GF 9:15p, WL 9:35p, FW 945, CR10:05p, MK 10:20p

Yes, it always follows that schedule except for nights when Wishes is at 9pm. On those evenings, as soon as Wishes ends, the Electrical Water Pageant begins in front of the Polynesian. With Fantasy in the Sky, it started on the downbeat! So magical. With Wishes it begins after the briefest of pauses as the music fades away.

I've been wondering about this ... we came out of the MK one night and saw just a few moments of it going by - very cool and almost surreal! Does anyone know how long it has been going on ? I thought I remembered it from childhood - but maybe I am confusing it with the parade. At any rate, where is a good place to see it ? I think I've heard people say the beach at the Poly - but is it OK to do that if you are not staying at the Poly? I mean, do they mind if you are not a guest and you "visit" their beach? :rolleyes1

It has been showing since the Polynesian and CR opened from what I've read. We have personal experiences since our first stay at the Polynesian in 1983.

The music has changed over the years though. I really missed the old music at first. Lots of classical music including Trumpets Voluntaire.

Any of the Bay Lake or Seven Seas Lagoon resorts would be fine for watching it. You don't have to be staying there to enjoy the Pageant. My personal take on it is that I would not take a cabana or swing if I wasn't a guest of a particular resort although people will debate that.

We've seen bits and pieces over the years - but we were able to watch the whole water parade while we stayed at WL - it was really neat!

So if Wishes starts at 10:00, the EWP will start at 9:00 and continue through the fireworks? If so, you'd miss it coming past MK since the Wishes would just be finishing up?
