wonderful room - we had lots of room for stuff and put the suitcases under the bed.. didn't miss the seamer trunk at all and there were 4 of us....

Loved the room in Dec.... Have it again for the EB Repo...

We had plenty of storage....

Hung as much as we could.... Luggage under bed

Put Life vests under the bed too

Had the entire upper shelf to use in the closet...

Put extra pillow/blanket over to the right of the desk (next to window)

Then the cabinet above the TV was empty. DD had one shelf. I had the other.

No steamer trunk, but I enjoyed having more room at the end of the bed to walk. It felt roomier. There is a light that stays on all night outside, so be sure to bring a hair clip or a couple clothes pin & you'll be all set. It's a great location. We LOVED it!

We have 5520 in just 3 weeks and I bought one of those canvas shelf hanger things at Target that I plan to use for folded stuff that I would normally put in the steamer trunk. I figured that when we put our suitcases under the bed usually, we never used the whole closet anyway. So, the canvas shelves should be perfect!!!

I just reserved that room today for Aug. 2008 for my girls only trip with my DD. I was a little concerned about how the room sets out from the wall and kids running into it or hitting hit. That could get old pretty fast. Any problems?

We have #5520 for the Mexican Riviera in August 2008...this will be our 1st SPR and I hope you are all correct in saying we won't miss the steamer trunk.

It's a great stateroom and if 4 women and all their clothes and shoes and makeup could find storage space...so can you.
No problems with noise from the hall either.

My boys had no problem running into the wall. I sometimes want to climb the walls though when they make me crazy.
