I know they have "1st Time" and "Happy Birthday" buttons but what other buttons do they have at city Hall?

I'm pretty sure there isn't a "1st time in 18 years" button  I'm taking my grandparents and they haven't been in since we were babies. I'm definitely going to grab my little sister her birthday pin. Even though it was a week ago we will be celebrating it at Disneyland :cool1: It's gonna be so much fun :goodvibes

How about a "2nd time, because mom was too clueless to know about it last time" button. :lmao: I haven't decided if I'll try to get one for DS since DD missed out on the opportunity.

where do we get these...we are celebrating MY Bday there AND it will be DS 1st time:cool1: ... we have vouchers for a free pin and backpack...hopefully we can get it there!! 2 weeks and counting ... yaaayyy!!

I was at Disneyland at the beginning of March and when I told the CM at the ticket booth it was my son's and my first time, she gave us 1st visit buttons.

The CM's in the park took note of the buttons and several comments were made to us. It was really nice.

They also offer a "Happy Anniversary" button and an "Honorary Citizen of Disneyland" button.

does anyone know what other kind of buttons there are?

There have been a few posts about the buttons and I remember someone had a picture of all the buttons, there aren't too many. Do search and see if you can find it, but I know there is a just married button ( I think that's what it was called) and an honoray citizen button.

Last year, we went the week before my b'day. I went into City Hall, told them that I was celebrating my b'day (I did not say it WAS my b'day, but they really didn't seem like they would have cared at all!), and they gave me a button with a space for my name with "Happy Birthday" on it.

They asked if it was our first time, and I said that my son was only 1 last year, so he doesn't remember it, but officially it wasn't his first time, and they gave him a first time/honorary citizen button (which was good, b/c otherwise he was going to grab my b'day button!).

So for someone on their "first time in 18 years trip", I bet they'll be perfectly fine calling it your first trip. :)

the honorary citizen buttons ...there are cms that walk around & hand those out as well. :flower:

I found the picture of all the buttons!
I'm definitely getting family reunion, 1st time, and birthday buttons

They should make one for getting engaged there... I got engaged on the Haunted Mansion ride of the 50th anniversary weekend.

Oh thank you for this! We are looking at a trip in November for my birthday and also if all the family can go it will be a family reunion. What is the honorary citizen one for?

What is the honorary citizen one for?

It's sort of a "catch all" button given to guests. Sometimes CMs will give them to people who they think are being extra nice, or to kids just to give them a bit of "magic." I was given one at the end of taking the "Walk In Walt's Footsteps" tour. If you'd like one for yourself or someone else, just go into City Hall and ask for one.

My youngest child had been there about 10 times already (AP holders) and we never got him a first time button. The last time we were there, I finally got him one. I went up to Guest Relations and asked and they gave it to me. I don't think they question you.

So, what's the reason you'd get an Honorary Citizen button? Just for asking? I SOOOOO want a Happy Anniversary one....even though I have never had an anniversary there! If anyone gets one they don't want....send me a PM!!!

My oldest got one from one of the Million Dreams prize givers when he struck up a conversation with them (he's 5). Another time my family got one when one of the restaurants messed up our dinner reservation.

I dont' think they'd question you for the 1st time visit, anniversary or button. I really dont' think they'd question you for an honorary citizen one but that's assuming you are asking and they see its for a child.
