What else besides Getawaytoday?

Just wondering what other companies you used for travel packages (just the parkhopper/hotel) besides Getawaytoday?
I know almost all of the reviews from people on this site have absolutely loved Getawaytoday -- but unfortunately our experience was not a favorable one (we had a hotel right across the street, somehow our ressies got messed up and we wound up and a lame-o hotel that was 20-30 minutes away from DL and to boot, the shuttle service was not working, blah, blah, blah). I had really thought about giving them another try since almost everyone has given them rave reviews.
Then -- my brother and SIL just got back from DL and Getawaytoday did the same thing with their hotel reservations. Obviously, next time I would double and triple check on the reservations -- but when you spend that kind of money, you just expect great service.
Anyhoo -- are there any other fabulous companies out there -- or should I give getawaytoday another try??

I booked the last trip through Costco - I am not sure what kind of prices you are looking at compared to getawaytoday - but they offer a free character breakfast for everyone in your party and a $20 gift card. This was a nice bonus for us, because the last few trips I had booked using just the Disney website. I have never compared the prices though - so not sure how it compares to getawaytoday.

Well Costco is good or so many others say, and you could possibly look into AAA. Also check around with some of the local travel agents. Some of them have great packages and they should all sell park passes.

mousesavers lists ARES travel as a place to buy tickets at least, with discounts even a little below the current 'everyone plays for the kid's price' deals. As far as rooms, nothing can beat priceline, go for a 3* in the DLR area, we've scored the Hyatt for $45/night plus fees.

I hope that they tried to make it right with you?:confused3 Sad to say to say nothing goes right every time. (no I'm not condoning the mix-up,or trying to make lite of it) AND,I'm am 'sorry' you had trouble with them.:guilty: Maybe next trip, give a second chance, just explain quietly and slowly what happened (if you already haven't)
I know the saying goes "The squeeky wheel gets greased",but there's also a cowboy saying that states "Most things are best heard whispered, not yelled".

I used travelocity to book air, hotel, car, so cal passes. We haven't gone yet ( 9 days) but so far the prices were the best I could find.:thumbsup2

Yeah travelocity is da bomb! LOL :rotfl: I always book travelocity for my trips. Their flight and hotel packages are really decent. Expedia is much more expensive so I dont even bother looking there. I always buy my hoppers else where. I find it cost saving.

Costco here too but now that there is a 4 night max we will have to book the additional 3 nights through someone else. Thus far getawaytoday's room only is at least $100 cheaper (total) than anyone else's offers.

I am a total travel bargain shopper, and personally, it has never saved any money to go through any kind of "package" deal for us. Usually each hotel's own site has specials, there is the entertaintment book, we sometimes use priceline, etc. I do like Expedia however. Also, when we booked our last trip to DL, after we bought our airfare, Delta gave us the option for $30/night for HoJo's - we jumped on it and canceled the DLH ressies!
