My mom and I keep going back and forth between what restaurants to chose and the days keep flying by. We are going on May 13-18 and want ADR's for:
O'Hana
Concourse
Cinderalla's Gala at 1900 Park Faire
Liberty Tree Tavern
Coral Reef

Do you forsee any problems getting an ADR for each if we call in the next week?? Also, when exactly are they open to take reservation phone calls and what is the toll free number???

Call ASAP...we are also going 5/13 - 5/18 and made first round of ADR's about 3 weeks ago, I think, and have called back a couple of times to tweak them. Even so, I couldn't get the exact times I wanted everywhere, but managed Rose & Crown 7:50 pm, so maybe we'll get good seats for Illuminations. I would think Concourse wouldn't be too hard to get since it's not one of the more in-demand restaurants, 1900 might be tough, but not as bad as CRT. But call soon. You can always call back later to change things a little. And I don't know of any toll free number, just 407-WDW-DINE, I think it's 7 am EST. They might be open weekends too? Good luck!

We are going for DS6's spring break in March. We decided to go in February. DH's work is like that. Can't plan too far in advance for some things. Anyway, I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I just started calling and getting whatever reservations I could. Make as many as you want for whatever you think you want and for whatever you can get.

When you call, the CM can look for availability for a date range for the restaurant you want. I managed to get into CRT (for lunch), but still, I was excited, because we are eating in the castle:thumbsup2 and I never have before. Start with the restaurants that you think you will have a hard time getting and start working your schedule around what you can actually get. Then you will be able to know if you really want to eat there. For instance, I could get an ADR for Le Cellier for a weird lunch time, and so I made that at the time, but as it turns out I think that the Japanese place will be better for our family, and I really wanted a sit down dinner, and I could get Japan for dinner. So I made that one and canceled the other.

From what I understand you just can't have two reservations for the same time at two different places.

Keep in mind, that, as I understand it, your ADR is an approximate time. You can check in early for it and you will not have to wait until your ADR time before you are seated:confused3 . Maybe someone else can confirm that.

Getting reservations mostly depend on your party size. While 2 and 4 tables are a little easier to get, the bigger the table the harder to get. A few of your places might be a little difficult (Coral Reef, O'Hana). Post back and let us know how you did. We are going the beginning of May, but made our ADRs months ago. I changed a couple this week and it was no problem getting a table for 4 at 50s Prime Time and Cape May, for the first week of May.

Wish I'd had that number! I'm saving it for sure...I've called long distance every time on my dime. And one time I was on hold forever, then they came on the line, I could hear them talking in the background, and I said "hello, hello?" and then got hung up on :headache:

Okay, just made the ADR's today and talked to a very nice CM named Dominic. I used the 1800 number too (1877 939 3732). Anyways, I got all the restaurants and times I wanted, no problems at all. He asked about all of the times that I wanted and just said early for the dinners; O'Hana-5pm, Concourse-5:50pm, 1900 Park Faire-4:30pm, Liberty Tree Tavern-4pm. And a late lunch at Coral Reef for 3pm. No problems at all!! I am so glad, from the impression I got from the board I thought we would be eating at like 9pm at night :scared1: ! I would not stress to those who have not done it yet for those dates anyways.

Glad it all worked out for you, but remember getting a table for 2 is alot easier than getting a table for 6 or 8. When people post that they can't get an ADR, they seldom will said what size table they are looking for. When we're a larger group I jump right on it. When it's only the 2 of us, I usually will call right away for the harder ADRs (LeCellier and Coral Reef for us), then call later for the others and fill in.

You got lucky for so close to summer. We just got back, and we saw first hand people get turned away, and some got downright mad. A husband came up was told no, asked if he could wait was told they were full, and would NOT be taking any walk ups this at Chef's De France. The man then goes to tell his wife, we were waiting to be called so I saw her reactions she stood there fussing not loud, but you could tell by her gestures. She then came up, and asked the host you can't let us wait and seat us. he then again told her no it was full you need a reservations. She was mad to say the least. I saw people get turned away A LOT that night. Same thing with other places. I tried to change a ADR to ohanas cause we decided to do the Pirate party again, and was told there was nothing open at all for ohanas. I's a good thing you got what you wanted.

Good for You.
I must say thought, your hours for dinner are very early, and that may be why you had luck. We could never eat Dinner at 4:30.
Have a Great Trip

I just made our ADRs for May 17-27 and had no problem getting my choice of times for Chef Mickey's (breakfast & dinner x3), Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner), Tony's Town Square (lunch), and Sci-Fi (lunch).
