If you could eat at any place for Thanksgiving dinner...where would you go? Also, have you ever celebrated Thanksgiving at WDW?

We are so excited to be there on our kids Thanksgiving break! Any tips?

Our plan is to have an early afternoon dinner at Whispering Canyon, then we will probably head over to Downtown Disney to see a movie. I think we will avoid the parks. I wish it would hurry up and be November:dance3:

We had Thaksgiving there in 2005. We had a wonderful time, and ate dinner at Artist Point. It was kind of expensive, so I didn't really want to eat there, but DH wanted to. Afterwards, I have to say it was very well worth it. Excellent food, atmosphere, and service.

for WCC? Or for that matter, any menus for Thanksgiving day either in the parks or hotels?

Thanks!

Thanksgiving 2004 I arrived at the WL without a dinner reservation since I didn't know what time I would arrive. I mentioned it to the cast member at check in and she got us into the WCC about 45 mins later. It was wonderful, all you can eat turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. Then came the pumpkin pie that the waitress wrapped up for us to take back to the room. As AuntieMO3 said, avoid the parks if you can, they'll be mobbed.

We had dinner at Cape May. We liked it alot. They had normal Thanksgiving food, plus they still had seafood.

I have them at home. I will try to post them tonight. I believe someone gave me a link on here to allears.net.

We were there last year. I'd like to warn you off Hollywood & Vine. Went there as part of Fantasmic package. Food was terrible, no atmosphere, service was slow and unattentive.
I don't know if it was the night or what. We don't hold the highest expectations for some of the Disney Dining. We usually give the food a pass if the service is good and we have fun. Others have posted positive reviews of H&V. We, however, did not have a good experience.

Believe it or not...we had H&V for Thanksgiving in 2005 and plan on doing it again this year. When we asked the kids where they wanted to go for Thanksgiving dinner, they said MGM and H&V! So this year...that's where you will find us! :goodvibes

I'm also trying to decide where to eat Thanksgiving dinner. We have a big group that so far is up to 16 but may climb higher. I'm definetly going to do out of park dining. I looked at allearsnet.com Thanksgiving listings for 2006 and I'm leaning towards one of the places with a buffet dinner like Yacht Club Galley or Cape May. I wish that Disney would put out their 2007 list of Thanksgiving dinner restaurants so I know for sure what places to choose from.

Artist Point would me my suggestion for a special holiday meal.

We are trying to decide to eat at Hoop-Dee-Do Revue or Whispering Canyon Cafe? We have a total of 10 in our party. I think that we are leaning more towards Hoop-dee-do.

I think we decided for everyone to eat at WCC. We have 26 Adults, 2 Kids & 2 infants in our party. I hope they don't give us a hard time making ADR's.:worried:

Cape may at the Beach Club has a great Thanksgiving buffet. I've celebrated 2 Thanksgivings there and would go again!!;)
