I am looking for your opinions on romantic restaurants outside of the parks. I have the following booked:

Fulton's
Narcoosee's (7:30 for 9:00 fireworks)
Maya Grill (first night of split stay so we may not want to leave resort :rolleyes1 )
Olivia's
Flying Fish

Couldn't get California Grill. Am considering Artist's Point, too. Do you have any others to suggest. We're both kind of foodies but V&A is NOT in the budget. Looking for good food in a nice atmosphere.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Narcoossee's is pretty pricey, but I love it. I think I have become the Disboard cheerleader for that place!:cheer2: :cheer2: I love the atmosphere there, it's such a great location too.

Jiko's gets raves, but I didn't enjoy it all that much. Probably more of a server issue though. I also kind of struggled with the menu, lots of things I liked but served with things I didn't. I liked the design of the place. I would give it another shot though. Artists Point was really good. I liked the restaurant decor, of course the food was very enjoyable too.

Thanks, ReggieB.

Benn to Jiko too and i know EXACTLY what you're taling about. Liked Boma better but that's not what I'm looking for in the order of romance lol.

I've heard noise levels at Narcoosees are bad but I just love being surrounded by water, fireworks and good food.

As far as priciness goes, I think Fulton's has Narcoosee's beat. Both are at my top limit, hence no V&A.

I do have the DDE card so that helps...20% OFF.

Fulton's -- I do not recommend. Dirty, rude CM's, poor quality food.
Narcoosee's (7:30 for 9:00 fireworks) -- Love it!
Maya Grill (first night of split stay so we may not want to leave resort ) --never been.
Olivia's -- Love it, consider this one of WDW's best kept secrets, not romantic
Flying Fish -- Love it!

The most romantic TS is V and A at the GF. Yes it is pricey and you have to dress but it is soooo worth it!!

Another is AP at the WL.

I didn't notice the noise level at Narcoossees (I must have put too many letters in there) I would imagine it would be more romantic with a window seat. We were up near the bar, which is probably not favorable but I still really liked it.

Also liked Citricos at GF. That was really not very busy when we went (but we do eat pretty early) I quiet like the ambiance in there, and GF is such a pretty resort. It's nice to have a cocktail in the bar at Mizners to kind of get you in relaxed mode. You could saunter down to the dock area and catch the fireworks from there after you have finished.

I have to go fix dinner now, I have a feeling it's going to be a great disappointment after thinking about dining out at WDW!

Hi again ReggieB,
I just like the idea of stepping out on the balcony/dock and seeing the fireworks.

Yea, Fulton's is the one I'm most likely to cancel. Expensive and very mixed reviews.

Just wanted to add that we have been to the CG four times now - twice with kids once by ourselves and once with another couple. We just returned from a meal with kids last Thursday. The noise level, to me, was incredible! We ate at Narcoosee's a few nights before, and the noise was nothing like it was at CG.

My point is, don't be too upset about not getting that one. I would have been disappointed if this had been billed as a "romantic evening" with my DH.

We found Narcoossee's to be delicious and much more intimate than CG.

We did not eat at Artist's Point but I have heard nothing but RAVE REVIEWS, so I would definately add that to my list. Citricos has been mentioned and I would second that vote as well.

Good luck with your choices!:)

My husband and I ate at CG and loved it. The fire works were sectacular. The service was great and our server gave us some freebees because we were celebrating our 25th.
Boma was also romantic for us. They knew our celebration and sat us next to a window with a fountain. We had a flight of wine with our meal. the CMs brought us an anniversary card signed by them all and a dessert platter with choco covered strawberries and pasteries with happy 25th written in choco. We had dinner late and strolled the grounds after dark. Then went to the observation area and viewed the animals in the night vision goggles. That was probably the most romantic night spent.
You can make any place romantic with a little creativity.
Enjoy:)

OP here-
Thanks, everyone. I appreciate all the input. And I'm going to cancel Fulton's! Really looking forward to Narcoosee's. Any other suggestions?
