FR virtual visa question

Hi all! Has anyone here used a Freeride virtual visa card to order a disney gift card? Are you able to do this? I know I tried doing this a while back with a $25 webcertificate but I needed to add $1 first. Is this the same with the virtual visa card?

I have used this many times to get the disney gift card. I don't know for sure if you have to add the $1 but I did to my account just to be safe.

Thanks so much for responding. I've never used a virtual visa before. How do you go about adding a dollar? Is it done through another credit card? Or would I have to add it from a bank account? I don't like linking things to my bank account so I'm debating whether or not to order one.

I did it with my credit card I think they charged me 4 extra cents to process it. You would just log in and go to add funds and enter your credit card information. It gets posted right away to your virtual visa account. You might also be able to call them and have them add it for you like webcertificates.

Then assuming you are a member of sunshine rewards go through there disneyshopping link since they will pay you to purchase the gift card!

Not sure about Disney... I used my virtual visa to buy an amazon gift card. I didn't have to add any money...

I would try it without adding the $1... if it didn't work... then I would add it...

Bumping up to see if anyone else has tried this. I just received my virtual visa from freeride and want to order a disney gift card. I don't want to waste $1 if I don't need to, but with all of the problems people are having with disneyshopping, I don't want to run into problems either.

Has anyone successfully ordered a $25 disney gift card with a $25 virtual visa without adding $1?

Just another reward program! www.freeride.com you can rack up quite a few points when the ifilm banner is up but that isn't all the time.

Bumping up one more time hoping someone has successfully ordered a disney card without adding the extra $1.

I finally decided that I would just add the $1, but I had opened my virtual visa under the name of "Debbie" and my credit card is under "Debra", so since they don't match it won't go through. And there is no way to change the name on my virtual visa account on their website. Ugh.

I don't want disney to flag my account if I try to order and it doesn't go through, since they are being such a PITA lately. Plus, I want to order other gift cards this month to take advantage of the 10% back and don't want to mess up my account in any way.

So, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, post if you have been able to order a $25 disney gift card using a $25 virtual visa WITHOUT adding anything extra.

I tried to order a $25 Disney GC with a $25 Visa GC. It wouldn't go through. They charged $2 to the card. I had to wait for the charge to drop off and then go to the Disney Store to use the $25 Visa.

Why don't you call the virtual visa place they will put a dollar into your account. It worked for me I just called them and explained that I needed a extra dollar in my account to purchase the gift card I wanted. They said they would be more then happy to add it for me.

when it wouldnt go throught due to the $1 charge which I forgot about when I tried to do the order--

I called the web certitificte and they did a courtsey credit of $1 so I could get the disney gift card!! they were very nice to work with

the $1 is still in my webcertificate account so next time I wont have to worry about the dollar-

I hope this isnt too late to help you guys
