Are there shells on beaches of St. Martin, St. John, St. Thomas and CC?

I am not sure about St Maarten, but on the others, removal of shells from the beach is prohibited by law. I also believe, but am unsure of the exact verbage, that the importation of shells from outside the US is illegal due to food stuff laws.

Yes, you can find them on St. Maarten and Castaway Cay Not necessarily huge ones. Our kids gathered them up and made shell mountains on our last trip.

You are no longer to bring shells home from other countries.......Next trip you need to plan Sanibel!!!!pirate:

:cutie: If your kids are young enough not to know bring your own shells. Put afew around and let them find them.:goodvibes ;) :)

We found some HUGE ones at CC...but like others have posted you can't take them. They have signs posted on CC and make announcements about how it's nice to look...but don't take.;)
