I thought I'd pass this deal along to some of you....AAA is having a special book by Dec 07 and you only have to put $25 dollars down. It includes the Disney Cruise Line. We just booked out cruise for Dec. 13, 2008 and we used the Cruise Bank program. Here is the website --->ht.tp://www.our.aaa.com/travel/agency/crus.bank.html
Take the dots out of "http", "ouraaa" and "crusbank" before you use it... :cool1: :goodvibes :yay: :cheer2: :flower3:

What exactly is the site address to go to I can not find it....!!!!

I tried it and it just defaults to a page that asks for my zip code. Since I'm not already a AAA member it's not easy to find out if it's even worth considering. Also, since I'm planning on booking a stateroom as a single - it's not giving what price I'd really have to pay. So can't tell if the only $25 down (plus the $60 to join) is worth it.

Now it MIGHT be worth it to get a $150 stateroom credit if they are still doing it. ( I know DU gives credit - but right now it'd only be $50 for the category I was looking at.)

:confused3 I just called AAA and they knew nothing about this $25.00??:confused3

I am a member of AAA but when I put in my zip code, it goes to the regular home page. Maybe that's just a promotion in certain states??:confused3

You can click on "Contact Us and Help"..Scroll to the bottom of the screen to the site map. Should be alphabetical summary of stuff on the website...Click on "C".. Cruise Bank is listed six selections up on the right side....It may only be local I have no idea....I just found it on the www.aaa.com website. We are already members of triple a just for road service so I assume you would have to join to get the benefits....

Must be local - when I go to the website it automatically takes me to the AAA-California site and there isn't even a site map.

It comes up to Missouri AAA - you have to be a member in that area to get in, I guess.

I checked my AAA and it doesn't come up. I wish it did...

must only be local, because I can't find it here either. You put in the zip code and it will take you to your local/state AAA site! If you think about it...I am actually pretty sure it's only local, because DCL wants their full deposit from every person. If AAA only charges every person that books a cruise through them $25 deposit, they would have to come up with $225 per person out of their own pocket (for a 7 day cruise) to pay DCL. I can see them do that for maybe one area at a time, but not the whole country! :confused3

My mom works for AAA and no one in her office knows anything about this.:confused3 We are located in Kansas though, so maybe it is just for your state. I am confused about how this would work though because wouldn't Disney want their full deposit no matter who you book through? Does AAA pay the full deposit then?

exactly what I am thinking!! Let's say 1000 people book a 7 day DCL cruise through AAA and they all only pay $25 deposit. DCL wants their full deposit, so AAA would have to shell out $225,000 to pay for everyone's full deposit? That's the reason I think it's only in the OP's area, because can you imagine how many people would book through AAA if they did it in the whole US?

I don't know..This is what it says:

I'm shocked that Disney or AAA would actually do this, but I think it's great!:) Glad it worked for you!:goodvibes

I did a search through Google for Cruise Bank and the Arizona one came up as $5!!!

Yowsers. I cannot see anything for NY though. :guilty:

I'm in MIssouri too. I clicked on your link and typed in my zip code and came right to the cruise bank to which you are referring. Darnit...I already booked w/DU and paid whole deposit!

:sad1: I had just booked through AAA and wasn't told anything about this. We had to pay the full deposit. Live and Learn.

Although AAA is a national organization, I do believe that each chapter negotiates it's own special promotions.

I wish they were doing it here too....
