OK, My photographer is Amy Pezzicara. Our contract is for 8 hrs of service.
We are having a dessert party in addition to the cermony and reception. Our ceremony is at 2:30pm. Our photographer says she will start @ 2pm to 10pm for the dessert party. IF we are doing this then we will have no pictures getting ready or at the grand Floridian in which we all arrive @ 1pm. I need suggestions. Her additional fee for another hour is $250. What should I do? Should I skip the pictures at the dessert party so she arrives earlier or just pay the $250?

Personally, I would cough up the extra $250. You can't replace memories.

DH and I decided right from the beginning that we would do whatever it took to properly capture the whole day in photos and with video. You might not think so now, but your memory will fade a bit.

I have some great pictures from me getting ready. I also would be unable to give up dessert party firework pictures.

In the grand scheme of things (i.e.-a custom Disney wedding), $250 is peanuts.

Yeah you are right but now I am getting nervous that the photographer doesn't know enough about disney weddings and I should of went with Randy Chapman like I had originally planned. I am now thinking of seeing if he is available because I would only lose about $175 and he is there all day and you get so much more. I just don't feel confident with my photographer anymore in that she is not experienced with disney weddings.
I would feel bad canceling but then again we are paying alot of money and I want to make sure we get what we want.

Your photographer will do a great job!! Don't stress out about that, you are so close, you should just be excited!! There are plenty of photographers that know disney weddings other than Randy Chapman. I have seen her work and was considering her for our wedding!! You have to do what you feel is right, but I wouldn't worry about how much experience your photographer has with Disney weddings. The style of photographs will come out the exact same no matter if your wedding was at Disney or somewhere else :) I hope that helps!

I would also pay the additional 250 for her extra service :) Good Luck!!
