Wedding anniversary ideas or price list

Hubby and I are thinking of celebrating our wedding anniversary at Disney. I am wondering if anyone has a price list from Disney on things that might be related to an anniversary or if anyone has some great ideas.

I saw this earlier and have been trying to think of things for you. The only thing I can think of is gifts of a lifetime. You can fill out a questionaire and they set fun things up for you like scavenger hunts and tours and surprises. I think some of the things can be a little costly, but it might give you an idea

Of course, you can contact the Fairy Tale Weddings folks and look into having a vow renewal. That is what I did for my 20th wedding anniversary two years ago. It was truly a night to remember.

oh Janet you have covered it all There is also a private dining you can set up with the GF...it is supposed to be very romantic and they can bring you out a mini wedding cake as well.

Personally I like Janet's idea of an intimate vow renewal but that can get pricey!

Looks like most things have been covered. We did the speciality fireworks cruise and really enjoyed it. It was for dh's birthday (his birthday happened to be during our honeymoon), but it would work just as well for an anniversary. I would have loved to have booked the Grand 1. If it's in your budget, I'd go for that one!

Get chocolate covered strawberries and champagne delivered to your room... Or check out some of the spa's at Disney. The Mandara Spa at the Dolphin is amazing.. Pretty Pricey but well worth the services

Like you, we've done the fireworks cruises in the Epcot and MK area. I agree that the specialty cruises are a lot of fun.

Last summer I was a guest on a Grand 1 dessert/fireworks cruise. I don't have many photos to share but do have a few: click here. Our group dined at the Wilderness Lodge that evening and the Grand 1 picked us up after dinner. This was arranged ahead of time.

Wisbucky, perhaps you could do something like that, too -- dine at a Magic Kingdom Resort (GF, Poly, CR, WL, FW) and have the Grand 1 pick you up after dinner. Then the boat could head to the Magic Kingdom in time for the Wishes fireworks show. It would make for a memorable anniversary.

Wisbucky, my husband and I have celebrated many wedding anniversaries in WDW. I thought I’d tell you what my husband’s favorite WDW activity is -- a Fishing Excursion. He’d live on an excursion if he could (he’s a die-hard fisherman).

We’ve had a few vacations where I had to book several of those fishing excursions for him. I remember one year I had to schedule the boat pickups to coincide with our resort-hopping schedule: Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, and Yacht Club. (We may be an old married couple, but we like to sleep around. )

For most of our anniversaries, we celebrated them at Victoria & Albert’s and also at both the Hoop-Dee-Doo and the Luau. If folks were vacationing with us (which was often the case), we’d include them in our dining plans. All three of those restaurants were fun ones to dine in with a crowd (yes, even Victoria & Albert’s). Those were memorable anniversary meals.

I was fortunate to have been a guest on a VIP Tour in Disneyland two summers ago and then in Walt Disney World last summer. The VIP Tours were wonderful. The tour can actually accommodate a small group of people, so if you’re traveling with others, they can be included in your tour (the VIP Tour Services folks will fill you in on the tour’s rules). I think a VIP Tour would make for a very fun and memorable anniversary, and I just might do it myself on a future vacation since my husband missed both of the tours that I mentioned (work woes precluded him from joining us on those particular vacations, drats!).

There are some non-Disney activities to do in the Orlando area. If you're adventurous, consider a hot air balloon ride or a skydiving experience.

For example, if it will primarily only be you and your husband at the vow renewal, then the Escape Collection might be right for you. However, if you plan on inviting a lot of folks to your celebration, then either the Wishes Collection or Couture Collection would be more appropriate.

The sky is really the limit with Disney vow renewals. My husband and I celebrated 20 years of marriage with an evening ceremony inside the Wedding Pavilion, followed by a progressive dinner party inside the Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park. We ended our wedding anniversary with a custom fireworks show that was set to music just for us by Disney's Pyrotechnics folks. It was the perfect way to end an absolutely ~magical~ wedding anniversary.

I've heard about carriage rides at POFQ and Wilderness resort - they sound quite romantic, and I believe you can request drinks etc to take on your ride. I think they are about $35. Maybe someone can elaborate on this for you if you're interested?
