flower colors

My bridesmaids will be wearing a cherry red color dress and i was wondering which flower color would look the best. I am having a hard time picking them out since the red is such a brighter color!! Thanks alot

You could do a red bouquet for yourself and ivory/ white (depending on your dress color) for the bridesmaids. Or mix the colors together, or add some pink in there. I'm sure whatever you choose will look great. I haven't seen a bouquet I don't like yet

My DF's brother recently got married, and they had red bridesmaid dresses as well. The bride carried a bouquet of all red roses, and the bridesmaids had all white bouquets (I believe of roses and carnations). It was really lovely, and the contrast helped the flowers show up well in the pictures. They had red tablecloths and used potted white orchids as centerpieces - really pretty, and a lot of people got to take home a plant after the wedding.

Don't be afraid to pair those red dresses with other bright colors...in fact, purples, greens, yellows, pinks, and oranges can really make those dresses look extra beautiful!
When I started picking colors for my wedding, I just couldn't pick one or two of them, and I ended up just picking colors in one seasonal color range (Autumn colors) and we got so many compliments about how everything looked like they "belonged together" even if they weren't all exactly matching. So, keep an open mind, and maybe think of the season during which you're getting married, and let that guide your choice of flowers, and colors.

My bridesmaids are wearing red dresses and they're carrying sunflowers. One because the yellow really stands out and two I love sunflowers!!

I like the post about bright colors like a pink, purple, or even those roses that are orange/yellow, those look so nice together.

White is really pretty, but Im a color girl...the more the better when it comes to color
