My Disney wedding was great!
Marion Stewart was a great help. She is very organized.
Hair/Makeup - We used Ana and Debbie from Beaute Special and they were great.
DJ - JR Silva from Disney knew exactly how to get the crowd involved. He sent us a form ahead of time asking what we like and don't like and he was very organized and thorough.
Disney video and photography - I hardly saw the videographer, so I am interested to see how the video comes out. However, Joe the photographer was the best. He was very creative with his shots and was totally open to suggestions. Between him and his assistant Bryan they said they took over 1,000 pics!
Carolyn Allens - they were prompt and did a great job steaming my dress and my mother's dress.\
Disney florist - the flowers were beautiful but the mother's wristlets were dead halfway through the night. They were supposed to pick up my bouquet as soon as we got to the reception to keep it for Keepsake Floral but they ended up not picking up the flowers until the end of the night.
Catering - Everyone raves about how good the food and dessert were at our reception

Everything was beautiful, here was the only problems:
we were supposed to have fruit along with cheese and crackers for the cocktail hour and the ADH kitchen forgot to put out the fruit
I wish there was a wedding planner or assistant at the dessert party that I could ask questions to, but they leave you with event guides who just direct you where to walk...
People said the directions they were given by Disney from the ceremony to the reception were confusing...

I'd love to post pictures if someone tells me how to do it.... :goodvibes

Make sure to tell everyone it is your wedding and wear your mouse ears.

Perks -
Disney gave us a bottle of champagne, a rose and an autographed picture from Mickey and Minnie in our hotel room.
We got our own boat on Pirates of the Carribbean.
At Boma (which is the greatest restaurant by the way!) they gave us a Congratulations card and extra dessert

CONGRATULATIONS!

Glad to hear everything went smoothly. i know there are a bunch of us on here that would love to hear about beauty speciale and see some pictures. I don't know how to post either, so let's hope someone can help us both!

OH - and I'm doing an Illuminations reception in French Island, so I can't wait to see pics of that too!!

congrats!!!

you have to upload your pictures to another website i think photobucket does it and it gives you the web address and you copy and paste it into your message box on here

Congratulations, and I really want to see your Beaute Speciale pics because I booked them for mine!

I use image shack for my pics: www.imageshack.us/

Can't wait to hear more about your wedding!

Congrats...

I upload my photos to photobucket.com and then copy and paste the IMG code onto here and the photos come through perfectly.

Im sorry disney had a couple oopsys. I hope you had a great honeymoon.

I'm also considering using Disney Photography & Video - if you purchase a, say, ten hour package, can they split that throughout the day? Does it have to run continuous? Can't wait to see your photos!!! :cloud9:

Congratulations!! I can't wait to hear about everything! :)

Raspberry Bubbles ~ Are you considering splitting the time between your reception and say a dessert party? I think I remember reading that if that is the case, you can split it up! Don't quote me but it seems to me to make sense. (I hope Disney wouldn't charge you for the time in between) I HTH! :) BTW: I love your username!!

Hey again! I DO want a Reception and a Dessert Party - but in different locations around the park - would they be able to, for example, cover before the wedding and the ceremony, reception for a while and then return to do the dessert party and the fireworks later on that day? I'm thinking of the 10 hour package you see, and the same for the video.
