Feasibility of Add-on For DS?

DS & DIL have been calling me daily, sometimes twice, from their BWV honeymoon...they've been bitten by the "bug"...already asking how soon they need to book for next January (shocked when I told them next month lol).

We don't have enough points to cover annual trips for them but, they're not in a position to buy a contract either.

Know I could buy a small resale in my name & DS's but, wondering if I could do an add-on to my existing contract, adding his name only to that portion?

Certainly, don't want to encumber DH & my current holdings in case of possible marital problems down the road for DS (once bitten, twice shy lol).

Anyone know?

AFAIK, add on contracts must be titled the same as the Master.

Have you thought about buying a small resale for you and your son? You could still use some of your points to reserve days for them and then just link them to days reserved out of the resale.

Oops - see you already thought of that (buying resale). But anyway, I really don't think you can title an add on differently than the master.

thanks...didn't occur to me that i could use the "new" resale titled in both names link to my regular account if need be.

If you have two Master contracts, you'll have to use your once a year transfer to move the points from one to the other.

actually i was thinking more of possibility (if i had to) of linking a consecutive ressie...

say days 1-5 with my master contract

and then

link days 6 & 7 with contract/small resale w/my name & DS (if need be, if he doesn't plan on using them)

for a longer res?

Why not just add on in your name- and make ds (and dil if you like)associates- just let them know how many points they can use- this way it is a nice gift- you won't be insulting the new bride. It is easy to remove someone as an associate if you need to that later. (I hope not though- congrats to the newlyweds)
