clothing for this time of year?

We'll be going out to LA next week, and I was wondering how people typically dress this time of year. I've been watching the weather and it looks like it's pretty cool there. I just don't want to look out of place with sweaters, winter jackets and boots if everyone else is dressed in lighter looking clothes.

Yes, it's very very cold right now. You will not looks out of place by wearing coats/parkas/gloves etc. The only people who look out of place are tourists in there Ts and shorts shivering. Hopefully, it will warm up by next week.

This morning it was in the 30's as I left for the office. Wear layers.

Scarfs are sometimes a lifesaver. And they're easily removable if it heats up in the afternoon.
