Silly People!!

I was reading another message board and read that some people have actually turned down the "smaller" prizes like the Fast Pass , lanyards, & YOAMD Mickey ears because they think its just a come-on selling ploy for DVC or something like that. Now I know that YOAMD isn't that promoted... really, you have to be the type that researches all this stuff online to really know about it (message boards, Deb's ALLEARS, etc)

All I can hope is that one of us savvy people will be standing right next to one of these silly people when this happens. Then we can scoop up the rejected dreams!!!

I know - silly peopl! My AAA agent told me this the other day and said it is something to do with what the cast member says when they tap you on the shoulder: "Would you like to see a man about a dream?"

So now you ALL KNOW that the correct answer is YES!!!

I can believe it... we had a really hard time last trip giving away fastpasses. It was if people thought we were trying to scam them or they would just keep walking when I tried to stop them! Oh well-

Your not kidding. My best friend is on the Dream Squad and this happens more than you know. With those type of prizes they are given out in bulk so they would be issuing about 50-100 at a time. People will actually push around the group of people cause they "don't have time to wait" and the rule is if they leave and then try and come back "because they were with that group" they are no longer eligible for that prize because they choose to forfit it by leaving. People always hesitate and say "how much is it" or "do I have to take a DVC tour"... there is no way it could possibly be free...

They are also doing a meet and greet with Cinderella, some people have mentioned on the boards. It is a "Magical moment" not a sweepstakes prize, but the DSquad CM walks around looking for people and essentially makes a reservation for them to come back for 1 on 1 time with Cindy. The moment of hesitation with some of the parents is priceless, they too want to know what they have to pay, why you would possibly offer it to them...

:rotfl: I guess it is just society today, nothing is ever free...

:snooty: Tssk Tssk, Marilou! As an educated Disser you should be helping these confused people INTERPRET their dreams, not be a scavenger! :) (No flameful intent upon your person.)

This cracks me up cause it is definately true. Yesterday at MK were sitting down having a snack and watched one of the CM's that carries a bag try for 15 mintues to stop ANYone of FantasyLand to give somthing away. He would start to approach people and they would divert there eyes (don't make eye contact with the sales person honey) and change direction to avoid him. He would try to talk with people and they would just ignore him...haha...if they only knew. Anyway he finally got a family to stop by talking to their kids first, don't know what they won as we went on our way.
