itunes deals

Anyone know of any itunes deals out now? Now that we got the ipods for christmas, we are looking at putting more on them.

Haven't seen any since Christmas. We got the Bose Idock and it came w/a $25 itunes card. Seems you almost always have to buy something else (like CD's) to get one. I would just keep watching the Sunday circulars or google it for online offers.

if you have the video one . they always have three for two videos. buy two for 3.99 and get one free. We have got many at 2.99 for a total of three videos.
Just a FYI all three are different ones from the same artist.

What are you looking for? Do you have a video ipod or a shuffle. There are movies, games, tv shows, podcasts etc. you need to give more information

Every Tuesday, itunes has a few songs, videos, tv shows, or audio books for free download. They are located on the bottom of the itunes homepage. These are things that you may have otherwise not bought, but hey, they are free, so if you don't like them, delete them.

Also, look into podcasts - these are free and give you little shows or cartoons for free. There are many Disney ones, including some that include videos of rides and attractions from WDW and DL.

Oh, and if the kids have friends with cds, you can always borrow those, load them to your computer and increase your music collection

Borrowing other peoples CD's and downloading them on to your computer. You don't own the music, hence it is illegal.

I'll have to tell my sister to keep it on the down low since she just "borrowed" the CD I purchased, AND put it on her computer and iPod. "I" bought it, so I'm free to lend it out to whomever I wish.

Technically you have 1 copy, so you could make a backup on your itunes, but not play the cd somewhere and on your itunes at the same time... so as long as your sister is not playing it at the same time as you are, you would be fine, where you would "break" the copyright would be if both of you listen to it in different places at the same time. You are free to lend it out to whomever you want, however they cannot legally make copies of it.... (as far as my understanding of the laws go).

I download from allofmp3.com. I've spent about $30 in the past two months and have downloaded over 250 songs. Much better deal than itunes. Songs are sold based on size and range from around 11 to 16 cents a piece. There are three kinds of downloads- low quality, high quality and cd quality. You can download a few to see which you like better but the low quality sounds exactly the same on burned CD's in my car as CD's I've bought from the store.

Right now they are also having a 20% sale where you get 20% more than the balance you put on the site. By going through xrost.biz and buying icards through them and redeeming them on allofmp3 you get 10% extra as well. So right now for buying a $10 card you get $1 for going through xrost and $2 extra for the sale. That could buy you about 100 songs depending on their size.

allofmp3.com would also generally qualify as stealing from the artists, as they pay no royalties. (you're probably also supporting the russian mob, but that's another story.)

it's currently "legal" to use (although credit card companies have stopped dealing with them IIRC) due to enforcement issues, but like borrowing CDs from the neighbors, it remains an ethical issue for those who concern themselves with such things.
