Spirit airlines website

Is anyone experiencing problems with spirit air website? It gives me messages that the site will be down for 48hours (got that one 3 days ago!) and I think it now says to visit back after 12pmEst. I'm glad they are improving their website, but it seems like it has been down for an awful long time? So then I thought "is it my pc?". SO, I'm just curious is anyone else able to access the website?

So Spirit7152 would you happen to know when November airflights will be availabe? Currently flights are available up to oct31st. We plan to fly out the 31st and back on the 14th. Will these dates be available after the new year maybe? Thanks

I work at the airport not at HQ's, so they relly don't tell us when they add new months for sale. Just keep looking, also if you have not signed up for e-mail from us then do so because we have run some crazy price sales.

Yah, well sales usually dont apply to me. I chose spirit because of spirit plus! We drive about 2hours to fly outta Detroit, but we fly plus and pay more then half of competitors.

So since you work at the airport perhaps you can answer this please. After Feb07 your allowed one free Piece of checked luggage. Is it true that if you were to bring a second piece of luggage it would only cost you $10? If so I still think that is a great deal! lol

Yes, your 2nd piece of luggage will no longer be free you will have to pay $10. I think we will be getting a lot of complaints over this.

Yah, I thought people might complain about that. I dont think $10 isnt bad at all! Thats what two value meals at a fast food joint? And folks would complain about that. I think spirit offers great prices. Especially for Spirit plus. I've really enjoyed my flights w/spirit and would stick with them as my choice carrier even if rates went up. So to charge a few bucks here and there to keep overall prices low... ..I'm cool with that! I'm sorry you will have to deal with the complaints, it has nothing to do with you. I wish you the best with that.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love working for Spirit. I can always deal with the nasty and mean passengers with a smile and say thank you for flying with us and have a great day. This just seems to get them in a better mood.

I think our dates will be Nov4th-Nov17th. From Dtw-mco. We will be staying at the Caribbean Beach. So each day I will monitor spirit's website to see when November dates are released.

Spirit plus is pretty much "first class". I've flown first class on other airlines and I just love Spirit the best. The seats are great, and the cabin colors are a light grey/bright which makes it feel very "open". So far all the flight attendants have been great on our flights. Go to thier website and check out their spirit plus section. It shows you everything you need to know about spirit plus. Most of the time you can get spirit plus flights for the price of coach from other companies.
