What is the best way to get from Pop to 'Ohana from dinner? We will be arriving in the afternoon and don't want to be late! pixiedust:

I would like to know this too! We are thinking about going to Ohana in place of another adr and we are staying at the Pop. How easy to just drive your own car?:)

If you have your own car - drive! If you don't have a car there are two options - DTD and then a bus to Poly or MK and then boat/monorail to Poly. I would go take a bus to MK and then hop on the Monorail to Poly. The boats are a little bit slow and Poly is the last stop after GF.

If you drive - it is very easy to get around WDW by car. They have very good signs for direction and guest services will give you a good map with directions to whereever you want to go.

This is so true! When you leave Pop, turn left at the stop light turn right, then just follow the signs to MK.

Thanks for the info friends. We will have a car but I would prefer to use Disney transportation. After spending all day on the road I am sure DH :drinking1 will be in need of several adult beverages and I don't see too well for driving in unfamiliar places at night! I guess I will see how we are doing on time and go from there.pixiedust:

If you want to use public transportation, take a bus to the MK and then take the Resort Monorail over to the Poly.

The monorail will stop first at the Contemporary and Ticket and Transportation Center...then the Poly. When you take the monorail out of the Poly, you'll stop at the Grand Floridian, then the Magic Kingdom. All stops are announced. :)

Just a suggestion, but if you have a car, take it. We stayed at WDW in August for our 7th overall trip, but our first with out renting a car. We also were at Pop and ate at Ohana. The trip takes a while just from resort to park without the added time to resort restaurant again. We got caught in rainstorm and barely made our Ohana reservations on time as it took us well over 50 minutes to get there. Disney has excellent road signs for getting everywhere within the World and I would not hesitate to drive there at night for a moment. Good luck and enjoy your trip!!!

I was thinking of using Blizzard Beach as a change point. Not just for Ohanas, but AKL, and all other resorts too. Any reason not to?

I wont swear to it, but it doesn't seem like the buses went to Blizzard beach each and every time.

Yes, if you can drive do so...if not...go with the popular opinion and change over at MK!

The last time we stayed at POP it seemed like the bus to MGM came more often and was a shorter trip. I do not recommend transferring at DTD, that bus can make several stops. WE were almost late to our ADR at WCC because it took a full hour and a half when we transferred at DTD.

I prefer just to take the bus to MK and ride the monorail.
