Can we use children's TS credits for CS meals?

We are going to disney and getting the dining plan. Just wondering if we have leftover TS credits, if we can use them for counter service meals on the day we check out of the hotel? The kids can usually share a meal so I was going to try to save some. Thanks, Linda

You're actually asking two separate questions.

First, is whether you can use TS credits for CS meals. There was a promotion available back in August and September that provided an official way of doing that. That promotion has ended. However, prior to that official promotion, some (but not all) hotel front desks allowed some (but not all) guests to convert some TS credits into CS credits, towards the end of their visit, with the assumption that they could not be converted back. You may or may not be able to do that.

Second, you're asking about whether you can use saved-up child meals for meals-in-general. Child meal entitlements cannot be used for adult meals, so while you can definitely save up those CS meal credits, you'd be obligated (and perhaps after January 1, forced) to use them for child meals.

We just returned from Disney 12-22 we had the dining plan. It was wonderful! We preferred the CS meals to the TS so I ask if we could use TS credits for CS and was told it was fine. All the credits were adult and I ask at the check-in desk at Coronado Springs where we were staying.
