This is my first time posting a picture so I hope it turns out. This is a picture of the cake I ordered from the Contemporary for my daughter's graduation. It was a 10 inch cake and we ate on it all week and only ate 1/2 of it. I would have LOVED to have taken the rest home but didn't have anyway of getting it there in one piece. It was chocolate with white chocolate mousse inside and white buttercream frosting with Ariel. Hope the picture comes out. . .opps I forgot it was $50 in all. . . $40 for the cake and $10 for the Ariel design

Ok this is by far the most impressive character cake IMO.

Is this only available from the contemporary, or in the CR restaurants?

Also, can it be done on the 8 inch size?

Can you choose Tinkerbelle like this?

It was VERY impressive. We were all pleased I just wish I could have brought home the leftovers because it was SO good!

It couldn't be ordered in the 8 inch because they told me I could only ask for specific things if it was at least a 10 inch. I'm sure I could have gotten tinkerbelle. My dd's favorite was Ariel so that's why I asked for it. I called the CR and ordered it through room service about a week before we left. We checked in on Sunday before Thanksgiving and I had them deliever it on Monday (to make sure we were in our room good). When we got to the hotel I didn't have to call and remind them or tell them our room or anything. Monday when we returned to our room from the parks about 3:00 it was delievered with silverware and plates. I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure any deluxe could do it for you because the CR wasn't one that I saw alot of people talking about but they did a great job.

Is there something wrong with my computer? I don't see a picture.

Sorry ya'll I got it back up if your talking about my cake. Now how do I leave a picture of it here without having it in every post I make on all the boards?

That has to be the nicest Disney cake so far!

All you have to do is this: while you are on the 'posting' screen, just look for the yellow picture symbol, which is above where you are typing your post, then there's a picture of a world to the right of it, and B, I, and U are to the left of it.

That is where you would enter the photo address, instead of putting it in your signature.

Then it will only appear in the post you make. :goodvibes

I hope this makes sense.

Looking to get a cake for my grandparents 53 wedding anniversary on december 6th. We are eating at Teppanyaki. Who do I call? Is it possible for this restaurant

Ok I'm checking to see if this works. Thanks it worked!!!!

Rhongepooh,

Did I spell that right?

Was there a certain design description to get the cake done like that?

What was the wording of the cake design, besides "Ariel"

Thanks so much for sharing with us. It's fantastic.

Thanks for the help I checked the first page and did not see a number for Teppanyaki. Who should I call?

Here is a picture of DDs cake for her 6th Bday party at the BC Sandcastle Club in 2002

The candy pile looked like a treasure chest.

I have seen descriptions and pics of cakes from the GF Bakery with raspberry creme filling. Has anyone had strawberry creme filling?

I called and ordered a cake today for my dad's 64th birthday. Fillings offered were white chocolate mousse, chocolate mousse, buttercream, raspberry creme, strawberry creme, and strawberries with custard.

Has anyone had the strawberry creme filling and did it have seeds in it?

The cake I ordered is vanilla with strawberry creme filling and chocolate buttercream icing, with a chocolate mickey and banner on top. I am having second thoughts on this................maybe I should go with chocolate cake and white chocolate mousse filling and ask for fruit on the top?

I just called the MK bakery and was told that they can make milk free cakes! She thinks that they can put a design on it also. I asked for an Ariel design. This is the first time that I will not have to make my own birthday cake!

scanne: I tried to send you a PM but your mailbox is full. Thanks for sending the photo of the Mickey Dome cake. It's adorable!
