Zoobles - do you think they will be a hot toy item?

I know the retailers tell us what the hot toys will be, so we become obsessed with finding and buying them What do you all think about Zoobles? Do you think they will be a hot item...do your girls want them.... will they be hard to find?

I thought they were going to be since they kept selling out here but recently the shelves have them again.

I know they're on my 7 y.o. nieces list. I got some for her birthday next week and some for Christmas. While you can still find them around my area, they're not plentiful.

Squinkies, on the other hand, don't stay on the shelves at all!

DD8 is getting 2 single packs in her stocking. She has consistently said they are cute when we've seen them but she doesn't beg for them or oooh and ah over any certain ones. I got them because they are sort of like girly bakugan (which her brothers have) and because they can sort of be played with while using her LPS (alien cousins?) Also, in case they ARE a hot item and she won't feel left out when she goes back to school and other girls got them.

Around here they are in stock most of the time but it is a low amount of stock.

We have tons of these on the shelves where I live. I can't imgine a big run on them. My DD6 wants some, but they are no where near the top of her list.
Squinkies have been hard to find, but lately I have seen the sets all over the place, so they seem to be replenishing them pretty well.

I thought Zoobles would be hot, but all of a sudden you can find them everywhere here. DD has a few and never plays with them....so all the ones I bought for Christmas were returned.

Squinkies were so hard to find a few weeks ago and now they are everywhere!

My 2 girls are getting one each in their stockings, that way we're covered. They want squinkies more.

I happened to see both the Zoobles and Squinkies at walmart yesterday and picked up a few, just in case!

Our Target always sells out of Squinkies within a week of them stocking the shelves. They filled the whole section last weekend and I went today and the entire area was empty again. The Zoobles on the other hand is always fully stocked and no one is ever looking at that section.

My daughter prefers Squinkies and really wanted the gumball machine. Little does she know I already have one hiding in my gift closet.
