hi! followed you hear from the July 2009 thread .. love your PTR so far!
great news about WL too.. that would have been so sad, but you had a great attitude towards it

for your 'fun thing' to do this trip... how bout seeing how many pressed pennies you can collect from around the parks?
i have only ever seen a couple of the machines around the parks but, according to wdw radio show & magic-city-mayhem podcasts, they are everywhere! and each one only costs $0.51 each

Oh I love all your surprise ideas!!! I wish my fiance liked Disney stuff as much as I do. We got engaged at WDW but are going to DL as part of our honeymoon in June, and I have been trying to think of surprises for him too, but it is hard because everything I can think of involves Disney!!! I'd love to see some of the surprises you got if you have pics And congratulations!!! Oh and how did you design those poem cards that you're putting with the surprises? I LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

What about maybe surprising him with things he likes for your honeymoon? Like if he likes a certain team, leave a hat on the bed with a little poem.

Aha I hadn't gotten that far on your wedding journal yet Thanks! What kind of watch did you get?
I have a few ideas and have already started collecting some gifts. We just both bought some Crocs or I would get those for him! I swore I'd never wear them too but they are so comfortable and I found the Mickey flipflop ones onsale at the Crocs website....of course my fiance did not want the Mickey ones so he got a sports team.

I got him a mickey watch. But you could always get him a watch with your date on the back. I know Macys.com has sme killer sales!

A sudden fear has crept over me...

I am noticing a pattern. Whenever I becomehigly stressed, BOOM, I get sick. And not just Sneeze sneeze, cough sniffle sick, but, full out, chills and high fevers sick....


So, suddenly today, I said to myself "WHAT IF since my wedding is TWO DAYS before our disneymoon, I get sick before it?!"

I know I shouldn't worry and just shoot up on Vitimin C, but now, I am kind of worried. This has happened continuously. And I mean, for the last year. Something big happens and I get sick, a wedding is surely a factor in all of this...

And the crazy part? Is that I am more concerned about being sick for Disney than I am for the wedding! lol....

Anyway, other than that, anyone have any severe reccomendations for a severe sinus infection? lol. I am thinking the doctor may be my only answer...

Answer When April 29th Rolls around, you bake a disney cake!

Vins birthday is April 29th... So, for the last three years, I have made a hidden mickey cake for his birthday...

Of course last years.... Beat the rest... How about some chocolate covered hidden mickey strawberries?

Of course I dont think that I would beat this guy in any cake competition...

But I am pretty sure that I am wayy cuter

Last year we went to the brown derby on our last night at Disney. Vin of course had to try....

The Grapefruit cake... and fell in love..

So, I asked our Waiter and he glady gave it to me! (If anyone wnats it let me know, Ill scan it in!)

Now, here is the question... How do I add hidden mickeys to a grapefruit cake? Any suggestions?

Jenny, I don't know if you know this but when I was trying to figure out which date I wanted for my wedding, I found out that you wedding day (the 17th, right?) was the first official opening day of Disneyland for family, friends, celebrities and press...and my wedding date, the 18th, was the official opening for the public!

I thought that was pretty cool, especially since my sister's wedding date is on the opening day of Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Updates:

So, Vin and I have decided on various things this week...

The biggest being that we don't want to do the fireworks cruise...

I wanted it to be a surprise but when I brought it up to him he said it was alot of money and that would be nice at a time where we didn't have a million other things happening...

whick I am sure makes sense... so...

There goes planning our next June trip and a surprise 300 dollar fireworks cruise

I am sure it will go up in cost by then but... who cares! Our honeymoon is two months and two weeks away....

SO AWESOME!

So, For vins birthday I cooked a whole disney menu...

That's too bad about the fireworks cruise, but at least you can do it on a future trip. Its been a few years since we have done one. Are the Illuminations cruises $300 too?

Looking forward to seeing the pictures from the birthday dinner. We did something similar a couple of years ago. We had a big group of family going to Disney (several for the 1st time) and a few weeks before we had a dinner party with all Disney themed food. It was a huge hit!

OMG, Jenny, please please please forgive me for not coming on here- i NEVER noticed it before and i have just read it all!! I will sure keep upto date now and follow - you havent got long left! omg!

So, with you getting stressed and getting sick, is there any way you could go and see someone about this before the wedding? I dunno, like someone that teaches you how to relax, be calm and not get stressed? (hehe i can hear you laughing!) I know they can be expensive but it could be with a try? Even if you got everything done, there will still be something you will stress about leading upto the wedding / dmoon and we dont want you getting sick- or it will be on your mind that you will get sick, and you will get sick because you are thinking about it (thats what i do!) Its the only thing i can suggest. Is there anything a doctor can pescrible to control nerves and stress that can cause sickness? Or can he introduce you to a program that helps with dealing with this? Wish i could help!

You just need to chill ya butt out and have fun and not worry about anything! hehe

I get sick because I am a freak. Right before disney last year, a plane crashed and I had severe phobias... it also didnt help that i started to watch lost!!!!!!!!!!!

I have considered it. Vinnie is all into natural remedies and reccomended valerian root, IVe been taking that and have been rather calm! I NEED TO BE CALM!! lol
