ZHU ZHU PETS at CVS this morning

I just sent DH to our CVS because the online ad said our store would have them....of course they did not. The manager said they got a small shipment around Thanksgiving but that was it, and they don't expect to get any more.

Yeah, mine said they had received an e-mail from corporate to hold them for today's add..however, they aren't even in our add today??? Well, they are in the on-line add, but not the print add

I just checked our ad and they are NOT in there, but they do have toys on sale for buy 2 get 1 free and it does say it excludes Zhu Zhu Pets, so maybe that is how they were "in the ad".

DH got up at 8am this morning and went to one of our local CVS's. They hadn't even put them out yet so DH was the first one. They had pets and accessories. Got something for all the cousins, niece and his best friend's son.

All I need is the Skateboard & U-Turn to have a set of the playhouse...does anyone have an extra one? I have other pieces that I could trade. PM me if anyone does.

Both CVS in my area had them this morning...an employee was waiting with the other 5-6 people who were there. They had a limit of 2 items..at first...then people talked them into two pets and no limit on accessories. So I got two hamsters, a carrier, a wheel and a car.

The second CVS had a limit of 1- I had gotten 7 extra bucks from purchasing make up so that one was $3 and change for one hamster. I think I am done.

Yippee! I got all 4 this a.m. Got up early and was at the first CVS about 7:30. I was 5th in line. While talking to the other ladies in line they asked me if I had gone to the other close by one. "No" Oh, they have them and they opened at 6 a.m. Drat, I wish I had known that.

The opened they door about 5 to 8 and everyone rushed in. Two lines at the cashier. People who came in after me got in line before me. We all knew our place in line, they should have handed out numbers. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get any. I was 3rd in line at my regester. Seemed like the 2 ladies in front of my took forever to pick out their accessories! They only had a small amount of items on a cart at the register. Limit 2 hamster, no mention limit on accessories. I was able to get the tan one and the yellow one. I didn't buy any accesorries. They had the car, the slide, the bed, and the carrier. I'm going to make carrier instead. I just can't see paying $7 for something so small.

So, of course when I left I hurried to the other CVS, about 2 miles away, not expecting them to have any left. I was wrong I got the other 2, gray and white one. So I figured I might as well check out one more. Struck out there, they were sold out.

But I now have all 4 and need to decide which 2 to give DD10 and what 2 to give as presents.

Thanks so much! The Skateboard is still in stock, that is the last piece I needed, it was a couple bucks more than at like TRU but well worth it! Now I just have to keep up the hunt for the new colored hamsters, I noticed the set of 4 on TRUs website today!
