Is 34.99 (tax and shipping included) a good deal for the fun house with patches? I just ordered it on amazon and now I am wondering if this is a good deal. I usually do not like to pay more than I would if I went to the store and bought it. Thanks

When it's not on sale (and in stock) at toysrus, the normal price is $29.99 there, but that is for the one without the hamster with it. Sale price is $21.99.

Walmart sells the funhouse without the hamster for $20.00, but they have none in stock right now.

The hamster alone sells for $9.99 at CVS.

So if found the funhouse at Walmart for $20, added tax, picked up the hamster at CVS for $9.99, added tax to that you would be paying $32ish depending on your local sales tax.

I think $34.99 delivered to your door (with free shipping and no tax) is a good deal, especially not having to wait and hope they will be available when you get there!!!

Well, I think MSRP is about $20, so I guess it depends on how you define good deal. If it's one of those have to have it for Christmas things, then I'm sure you saved yourself a whole lot of stress, and that's certainly worth something.

Oops, I didn't realize there were with or without hamster versions.

If best case scenario is approx $28 before tax, $35 delivered to your door sounds pretty good.

MSRP is $20 for the funhouse alone. She purchased the Funhouse set with Patches.

Good enough ~ no tax & free shipping right?? The House without a hamster was my 1st Zhu purchase ~ I paid $19.99 maybe $22 for it. I also bought the Starter Set w/Patches for $18 (using a coupon ~ reg. price then was $19.99 ~ shortly after I bought the set at Shopko they raised the price to $24.99, now online Shopko's price is $29.99).

Retail at Walmart would be $28.00 before tax...IF you were able to find them. It's been a madhouse here! So really if you wanted it and were able to find it, consider yourself lucky.

With the free shipping don't be surprised if you get an email saying it may not arrive for Christmas. I had ordered one on Dec 2nd with an original shipping estimate of Dec 7th. Then a day or two later go another email saying it wouldn't arrive until much later, I changed the shipping from free to standard and then arrived on 12/12.

Same thing is happening with 2 crayon makers I ordered on amazon on 12/12. Had it with free shipping then got an email that it may not arrive until after 12/24. Changed the shipping to standard and now have a delivery day as 12/24. I just hope it arrives in time as one is for my niece who REALLY wanted it!
