I guess they are one in the same. I had heard bad things about zazzle, so when I read about disneyinkshop.com in Newsweek, my hopes were high.

Anyway, I want a simple baby tee in white or grey with Mickey on the front (see pic). Has anyone seen that as an iron-on transfer? Where have you seen Disney transfers for that matter?

Thanks!

What bad things have you heard about zazzle.com? I was considering ordering a Lilo t-shirt because I've never been able to find one I liked in an adult size.

I haven't ordered anything yet from the site, but my one complaint aready is that you don't seem to be able to personalize phrases to add. They give you a set list to choose from, and I haven't figured out how to insert my own phrase or name.

To answer your original question, I've not seen Disney transfers anywhere (which is why someone told me to check out zazzle.)

Here's a couple bad experiences one two

Do a search and lots of opinions come up. I hate to let a few bad remarks keep me away, but I only have 3 weeks before we leave.

Has anyone tried to make their own transfer with clipart and transfer paper?

Well after trying a few iron on projects in the past and not really getting a great result I decided Zazzle (even with the few bad reviews I'd read) would have to do for our shirts. So I ordered in August, and made the choice of the Premium shirts since the taping is something my guys like on their shirts (taped over the neck seams from shoulder to shoulder). I like that it adds a bit to the seam strength too, so for 4.00 more I got those. Anyhow, the website only showed "processed" under my order for a few days, when they state they try to mail within 24 hours. So I emailed a guy, got a response within 24 hours and he said there was a quality control issue with one of the shirts and they'd email out Tuesday since Monday was a holiday. Well, then on Tuesday we received our shirts!!! I emailed him back and let him know that the shirts had arrived, a day later I received an email that said our shirts were shipped....HUH?

The first thing I noticed was that only 1 of the 3 Premium shirts I ordered were actually taped shirts. The other were basic tees :( The second thing I noticed was that there was a very noticeable line above the image and 2 lines below the image, almost like missing fibers in the shirts. I figured it was something where they folded the shirts and did the heat transfer but didn't know if it would wash out.

The guy that I'd been emailing said that they'd recently changed the adult premium tees and hadn't updated the site with the new information stating that they were no longer taped, but that they'd issue a partial refund for the difference (still haven't gotten that). And then he said the lines should wash out, they didn't.....actually they got more pronounced after being washed.

I don't have time to reorder them and really I wouldn't anyway since it cost me 80+ the first time for 4 shirts....I won't be giving them a second chance for the price they charge.

I'm not sure what anyone heard about Zazzle.com but they are wonderful!!! I just ordered 4 t-shirts for my upcoming October trip and they are really nice shirts...and they are printed exactly with what I asked to be on them...

I can totally recommend using them...I had my shirts within about 5 days after I placed my online order....and placing the order was actully fun as you can see exactly what the shirt will look like...

Zazzle rocks......

Thanks to everyone for your responses. I went looking for a plain baby tee this weekend to try my iron-on project, and ended up finding the perfect Mickey t-shirt! Its plain gray, baby tee and has Mickey on the front doing that exact pose! There was also a white one with Minnie on it. They were at Charlotte Russo for $12.99! If anyone is interested, I'll take or find a picture.

:)

I just wanted to add my $.02 about Zazzle's Disney Inkshop.

Last week, I ordered two sweatshirts (one for each of my nieces for their upcoming birthday on 9/18). One shirt with Snow White & first niece's name, the other with Tinkerbell and second niece's name. I paid $29.00 for each.

I received them a few days later. The Snow White one was the better of the two, but by no means was it as nice as it appeared to be on the website. Snow White is pale at best. Her face & hands are supposed to be flesh colored, but they are pale; nearly as white as the sweatshirt.

The Tinkerbell one is a mess. Tinkerbell is so incredibly pale that you cannot distinguish where her face ends and the white of the sweatshirt begins. Her hair is so light that it is almost invisible. It looks like something you'd print from a cheap color printer that is nearly out of ink. Total disappointment.

The Zazzle site has a link to email them regarding returns or problems. Did that, no reply. So, I looked them up on www.switchboard.com, got their phone number & called directly. I spoke to a guy named Greg who sounded pretty nice and said he'd have a new one printed for me. He asked that I mail the original back.....I'm praying this one is much better (it should look wonderful for $29.00!!).

That will be my last order from Zazzle.
