Yummy Sweets and Fireworks... (or something)

So, a while ago, when we first made our reservations the Disney rep mentioned something about how much she loooooved this nighttime dessert spread under a fireworks show..... Something along those lines anyway.

Anyone know what she was taking about?

She's talking about the Magic Kingdom Dessert Party, which is in the tomorrowland terrace. I've heard it is great, but have never done it. I think it is only on the books through August, though.

We are going form Nov 29 - Dec 4

DO you know when they will be booking for that? What is the oop cost? Is it included w/ MYW Plus Dining?

wishes dessert party. it was extended last year, so we did it in october. total waste of money in our opinion. mediocre desserts (if you can even get anything.... they don't keep it stocked very well. nobody in our group got any strawberries) and view. not included in the dining plan. i think it was around $18 each.

Is it only taking place up until 8/14...I guess part of the Summer Nightastic schedule?

Including tax I think it is now about $23 per adult. There was a price increase since last year. You can't use dining plan credits; in fact you need to pay for the event in full at the time you book it. They'll likely extend it because it appears to be one of Disney's best sellers (this event has been offered since summer 2009) but there's no way to know when or if they'll extend through December.
