What a great day!! 'Ohana was sosssssssssso yummy, wasn't it?
Mmmm.... Basin. I do believe it is pretty close to heaven-on-earth in there.![]()
Great updates! Ohana looks like a lot of fun. We've never been there.
haha, little guy's Splash Mountain face is too cute.
Aw, that was a great update! I am so excited for breakfast at Ohana's now. It looks like it should be a fun time.
I can't believe that Little Guy went on all of those thrill rides! What a brave little man.
I totally cracked up when you mentioned him telling you to stop singing. DD does that to us all the time. I know that I am quite the off-key singer though, so it makes sense.
Kristen - you look so pretty in the Ohana pics - you don't even look like you are feeling under the weather. DTD is definitely a dangerous place for your wallet.
Great update! Love all of the breakfast pics from 'Ohana. On our Sept trip, we still couldn't get Madison to ride Splash Mtn again. She vows to never go on it ever again. I'm so surprised that was Little Guy's favorite!
yah for another update
Breakfast at Ohana looked super delicious... and i love the go pluto go pluto story..too funny!
Little Guy's splash mountain face is hilarious...what a priceless moment!
Hopefully your finals went well for you...I thought this semester seemed to drag on longer than normal for some reason, but it's always such a relief when finals finally come to an end.
Can't wait to hear more guys![]()
Catching up ladies! Your breakfast at Ohana looked really great. Good character interaction, and the food looked yummy. I liked the picture with Little Guy hanging onto Pluto's leg.
Great update-- love the pic of Chris washing his hands with the scrub, lol. Too funny! Have a great holiday weekend, girls![]()
So I haven't entirely caught up yet, but I just finished your most recent update, so I thought I'd comment on that.
Tink, we probably *just* missed each other on the monorail. On the 23rd, we boarded the monorail to the Magic Kingdom around 8:30.
I love that tree in the Poly lobby that looks like an umbrella! I wonder what kind it is? I also wonder if it would survive in Ohio...
I've never been to 'Ohana for breakfast, but it looks like a lot of fun. I need to get a picture with Hawaiian-shirt-wearing-Mickey! And the food looks really yummy too.
Little Guy sounds just like my family with the whole "Shhh. Don't sing" thing. They hate when I sing along to Colors of the Wind.
Ah! Basin! I could spend hours in there just smelling everything. LOL.
Great updates! Little Guy is such a ham, I love his "Splash Mountain" face!Tink, is he all ready for Santa? And congrats to your fiancee on graduating!
Kristen, I'm still dying to see how many Vinylmations you guys went home withI got sucked into them too, in the worst way. I love Basin, I could spend so much time and money in there. The make your own soy candles looks awesome.
If I don't get back on here tomorrow, I hope you both have a wonderful Christmas!
I don't think I'll be on here tomorrow, so Merry Christmas Kristen & Tink!![]()
Great updates! I hope you had a great time in FL Kristen! Enjoy this upcoming weekend with your families!
What a great breakfast & day!
I love 'Little Guy's' Splash Mountain face!
Nice updates, girls!
Thumbs up for your 'Ohana breakfast - good food and the characters in the tropical gear are fun for photos. Little Guy venturing onto the thrill rides is cute. Funny that he told you not to sing!
I can smell Basin even when I just see it in pictures. Love that place!
Have you seen the finished product at the Winnie the Pooh queue? Looks very nice for kids to have things to do while they wait.
Mad Tea Party was closed in October. They were taking the roof off.
If I don't get back here before the weekend, I hope you both have a great holiday break with your families and friends!

What a great breakfast! 'Ohana's changed quite a bit since the last time I've been there (back in 2001!). They didn't have a parade or Lilo & Stitch.
Little Guy is quite the thrill seeker going on so many rides!![]()

Merry Christmas ladies!!!!!![]()
Hello to all our wonderful readers! I'm checking in from a SNOWY, WINDY, Long Island on a snow day! Yes, my job actually closed! This is a miracleAnyway, we basically had a blizzard yesterday/last night and the roads are horrendous. Originally my job was going to open late, at 11:00, but then I got the amazing news that they just decided to close for the day. So, I'm snowed in at Chris' house with him since his job didn't send anyone out today for cable fixing. I hope everyone had a terrific, family filled, magical Christmas! I know Tink and I did. Tink got me NY Giants sunglasses (which I'm too embarrassed to wear currently since the NYG are pathetic!), a pink frame with the picture of me, her and the little guy in it from the luau, a $25 Disney gift card and a card that made me cry! So sweet!! And she also sent me a picture of the little guy with Santa...he's grown so much in just 5 months since I've seen him. Anyway, thanks for sticking along with us. We'll try and get an update in this week. Chris, my mom, my dad and I are going to see Rock of Ages on Broadway Wednesday night and I have to work the rest of the week but we close at 3:00 on Friday for New Year's so hopefully I'll have some time then. Enjoy your week, everyone!
