You're the best parents in the world! I gotta pee! Where's My Tooth? Trip report!

I posted a reply, but I don't know what happened to it! Perhaps your ghost stole it, Lisa!

Anyhoo, what I was trying to say was that I had heard about the piracy issue that you are referring to, but had forgotten all about that. I keep up with Dis, but unfortunately, I don't know much else about what goes on in the world around me!!! What else do I REALLY need to know???? ;)

And I agree with you, I'd do the land/sea package too. Then you get the best of both worlds!!!! :thumbsup2

***Okay, now I KNOW I've been haunted. After I posted the second reply, the first one was mysteriously there. Creeeeepppppy!

We had thought about doing the Land/Sea package also--when Ashton is around 6/7.
I'm not afraid of the piracy in the carribean; I'm afraid of the germs!!!...I keep hearing of skin eating bacterias, and of course the stomach virus. Your in such close quarters w/everyone and using re-circulated air w/not very much fresh air in the ship.
The kid that fell off the Holiday was right here from Hammond; of course my kids knew him through other friends (but was not close--so sad). But, on the side of cruises --we loved it when we did go:lovestruc.

Lisa, you crack me...I bet no one but you would even notice your legs!!!:rotfl2:

I'd do a cruise. Well, heck, I've done a couple. And I never thought DH would go for it until he and I were on a "date" trip in Key West and saw that big Disney boat pull in. It made us REALLY want to check it out.

Cruises are not meant for large families. For the price of 2 staterooms we could have an amazing 2 week European vacation for all 6 of us. Oh well. It was a nice idea for about a week!

I wish there was a sound thingie on here 'cause I'd be posting some scary music right now.:confused3

The only time I watch the news is in the morning when I am getting ready for work and that's only during the Summer because during school, Hunter is watching Sponge Bob in the morning. Sometimes, I'll stop and watch a few minutes. I hate watching the news because it just makes me mad.

I hear enough bad/sad stuff working for a divorce/custody/family law attorney. I wanna hear some good stuff. That's probably why I am on the Disboards so much. At least that's the excuse I'm using.:thumbsup2

If I do a Disney cruise, it's gotta be the land/sea one. I can't imagine not going to the parks.

John's from the small town of Jonesboro and he's a bit, let me see how to say it..........backwoods in his thinking. And, I say that in the most loving way.:upsidedow

Oh I am noticing the leg hair right now 'cause it's cold as all get out in this office and I can almost feel the little hair nubbies sticking out.:sad2:

I really am working....I have a 20+ page document printing and had a minute.

After reading my trip report so far, can you just imagine what kind of mishaps could happen to our family if we took a cruise? :scared1:  :scared:  :confused3 :lmao:

Dana, do you have a Dollar Tree nearby? If so, see if they have a tripod. That's where I bought mine. It is metal and looks just like the ones I saw in the camera department of Wal Mart, Target and even the one at the local camera shot. It probably won't last as long but, hey, it was $1.00.

Are you serious? I will be at Dollar Tree Thursday morning. I was just there yesterday and I sure didn't think to look for a tripod. I love Dollar Tree :lovestruc:love:.

Let me know if you find one. If you don't, I wouldn't mind seeing if they still have them here and picking one up for you.

I love Dollar Tree too! I send Lacey and her classmates a goodie box each month and they have a theme to them. Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, June was sunglasses and beach themed, etc. etc. etc. The Dollar Tree loves me when I come in to make their goodie boxes.

I also bought some of the Disney tattoos and took them with us last vacation. Lots cheaper than getting them done onsite.

With all the people falling off cruise ships lately I don't think I want to take a cruise :scared1:.

I will sure let you know. What area of the store did you find it in? I usually buy all my glow tubes, stickers and tattoo stuff there too. I found the cutiest frame yesterday for the art work Disney sent me for becoming an AP holder.

I can just see our family. First of all, we'd probably have some kind of mishap on the gangplank boarding the ship, then we'd fall off our beds in the middle of the night, get knocked in the head with a shuffle board thingie, nearly drown in the pool, fall down the stairs going to dinner, choke on a shrimp from the buffet THEN we'd fall overboard while shaking it all off.:rotfl2:

It was over by the flashlights, mousepads, nightlights and stuff.

John might change his mind in the future. I'm going to keep watching the Disney cruises because I honestly think that's about the only one I could sell him on.

You do make a good point about your crew's penchant for mishaps though...:lmao:

I've got a few minutes left on my lunch hour so I'll get a few more pictures in for you guys.

When I left off, John and Hunter were leaning ever so nonchalantly against the boardwalk railing and I was taking their pictures. We really were just taking pictures of each other 'cause you know that we would NEVER climb up on a railing and take pictures of a boarded up area.:rolleyes1

We walked around the island and took some more pictures:

And another one of the Disney flowers....not regular flowers....Disney flowers:

We found this concrete alligator hiding in the island shrubbery:

Now before I tell you guys something, you've got to promise and pinkie swear that you won't fuss at me or yell at me or shake your pointy finger at me. (Long pause) Did you promise? Promise you promised? Okay, I'll tell you my secret. On our last day at the CBR, I pulled up two little bitty sprouts of flowers from the island, put them and some dirt in a cup and brought them home with me and one of them survived to grow in a pot on my back porch.

I know! I know! I'm not supposed to do that but I did. They were underneath a lot of the great big shrubs on the island and they were just little baby sprouts! Oh shoot! I think I hear the Disney police sirens now.

Gotta scram!

:lmao: Your family sounds like the Schleprocks.........:rotfl2:. Hey I can't talk, I tore my thumb up bowling. I had to have surgery to have all the ligaments, tendons and nerves re-attached :scared1:. Don't ever let anyone tell you bowling isn't a contact sport.................:rotfl2:

NO COMMENT!!!! :sad1:
