Hello Everyone, welcome to my pre-trip report for my upcoming Food and Wine adventure. I shall be enjoying the World, Food and Wine and possibly MNNSHP in late Sept/early Oct 2008. So without further ado I shall name the cast of characters for this most exciting trip.
Me - Just call me Sleepy, I am a 27 yo Disney nut who also happens to be a former CP.
Big Sis aka Doc. She will be 29 on this trip and loves to plan and take charge of things.
Also joining us are:
Mom aka Happy. She loves going to Disney and this will be her first trip since 2002 when I did my CP
Dad just call him Grumpy. This is also his first trip since 2002.
There are two who will not be joining us on this trip however and they are:
Little brother - just call him Dopey. He says he hates Disney. I don't know where we went wrong with that boy. He obviously did not come from the same gene pool.
Little bother's girlfriend or as we will call her Snow White since she doesn't fit any of the dwarves personalities.
Now onto the fun stuff like where we are staying. On past trips Doc and I have been very budget minded and have stayed at AsMU. This year however since we were lucky enough to get the Bounceback Free Dining we have decided to upgrade and stay at POFQ. Doc has never stayed there before bu myself along with Happy and Grumpy stayed there in 2002 and we loved it. The resort is smaller than the other Mods and very nicely laid out and lanscaped. I love how it's no more than a 5 min walk from the furthest building to the busstops and food court. Happy and Grumpy have their own ressie and did not get Bounceback so we are hoping for free dining to come out in April like it did last year.
For tickets we have 7 day MYW parkhoppers. We love to hop. It is so much fun to spend the morning and part of the afternoon in one park, go back to the resort to rest and then hit another park for fun and dinner.
Of course we are all on the DDP. We love it even with the changes. We like how we don't have to worry about paying for most of our meals and it really helps us budget things.
In future posts I will be adding our itinerary as we work it out along with new things that we want to do this trip and old things we want to do again. I shall also include restaurants and CS locations we plan on eating at. So stick around. It should be alot of fun.
