OK, so we know what Stacey's Top 7 Must See Attractions are at WDW...what are yours?

7. Spaceship Earth: Perhapps the second most recognizable symbol of WDW, it truly is enjoyable each and every time. Informatve and entertaining with a look to the past and the future, almost the definition of what EPCOT was designed to be.

6. Pirates of the Carribbean: Disney Animatronics done ever so well in a classic Disney tale.

5. World Showcase at Epcot: I could spend countless time walking from country to contry, talking to the cast members, enjoying the eats, shows and shops.

4. FOOD! Seriously, some awsome eats here. The dining, for me, is an attraction in and of itself that should not be missed.

3. Illuminations: What a very good show of light, sound and fire all done in a terrific setting where the "world" can see. I have to agree with another poster from here who said the mood right before the show, with the fires lit and the lights dimmed is wonderful.

2. Fantasmic. Bringing together Disney classics and contemporary creations with a terrific mix of show, fire, music, illusion and magic. Good always triumphs.

1. Soarin'. I simply love this attraction, so well done. I hope to see it evolve every few years to diferent flights. I still applaud after i "land."

:-)

Well you really have some good ones there, especially Spaceship Earth and World Showcase. I know most people will think I'm nuts, but to me, It's a Small World just screams Disney. I think every first-timer to WDW should take in that attraction toward the start of their trip.

Fun Thread!!

I'm no Stacey but I'll give it a shot. My Top 7 Must Sees:

7. Spectromagic
6. Wishes
5. Illuminations
4. Soarin
3. Splash Mountain
2. Tower of Terror
1. Fantasmic

Here are MY Top Seven!

1. Wishes at MK

2. Festival of the Lion King at AK

3. Soarin' at Epcot

4. Illuminations at Epcot

5. Mickey's Philharmagic at MK

6. Rock N' Roll Rollercoaster at MGM

7. Haunted Mansion at MK

Cool I need a distraction from work for a few moments:

1. Big Thunder Mountain

2. Space Mountain

3. World Showcase

4. Soaring

5. Eating

6. Mickey's Phillarmagic

7. Test Track

Hmm. Let's see. Based on my experiences at DL as well as reading the DIS and the guidebooks, here's my list:

7. Dinosaur
6. Tower of Terror
5. Pirates of the Caribbean
4. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
3. Haunted Mansion
2. Expedition Everest
1. Tomorrowland Transit Authority

(Whew! That was tough! There are so many great attractions...)

7. Dinosaur- I find myself smiling throughout this ride even though it's supposed to be scary "...at least this one's a vegetarian.."
6. Peter Pan's Flight- Classic
5. TTA- What's Tomorrowland without the TTA? Relaxing and there is never a line.
4. Thunder Mountain- My childhood favorite. Zippy and super fun.
3. Illuminations- My favorite night time show..sometimes I'll head to Epcot just to watch this and leave.
2. Spaceship Earth- My family's first ride for every trip, classic, relaxing, and just plain awesome!
1. Tower of Terror- My favorite ride in the World..amazing theme and story.

In no particular order...

Pirates
Haunted Mansion
Splash Mountain
Spaceship Earth
Tower of Terror
Aerosmith
Shop and eat around World Showcase

My top seven:

7. Monorail - The Monorail is a MUST DO every time I visit WDW. No matter what. I've even gone for a ride around the resort loop just for the ride. To me, NOTHING says Disney like the Monorail. "Por Favor Mantenganse Alejado De Las Puertas!"

6. It's A Small World - A timeless classic. I know the music can be annoying and it's a bit long - but for me, there's just something about this attraction that I love.

5. Wishes - To me, the best fireworks display I've ever seen. Of course, the castle in the foreground and the great music probably has something to do with that...

4. Soarin' - Feels like you're really flying. Simple concept but imagineering at it's best. And great, GREAT arial footage.

3. Spaceship Earth - I don't feel "at home" until I've rode this classic attraction.

2. Expedition Everest - Probably the best roller coaster I've ever been on. I just wish there was MORE YETI!

1. Splash Mountain - This attraction never gets old to me. This attraction has EVERYTHING you could ask for in a ride. It's funny, It's entertaining, it has loads of animatronics, it tells a good story (helps to have seen the movie), it has thrills, water, length - you name it - this attraction has it. I really and truly believe Walt would have been very proud of this one.

My honorable mentions: Spectromagic, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Rio Del Tiempo, Peter Pan's Flight, Carousel of Progress, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Hollywood Tower of Terror, The Great Movie Ride, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, Mickey's Philharmagic, Tomorrowland Transit Authority.

I LOVE all these attractions! I don't love Fantasmic, however, I've heard Disneyland's Fantasmic is not to be missed...

Great thread by the way!

Can we pick our actual Top 7, or do we have to spread our Top 7 out all over WDW, including some of the lesser stuff Disney is trying to push on people?
