We are DH, DW, DDs 15 and 10, and DS 18 months. DW and DDs are going to see La Nouba at 6 pm. What is your recommendation for best pre-show restaurant, taking into account convenience, quality, atmosphere, value, etc.

6pm is really tough to plan dinner before the show., how about a late lunch and dinner after the show? This way you won't be rushed.

If you need to eat earlier, then you're still going to need to plan a late lunch and get to Cirque :45 minutes prior to showtime. Could try Wolfgang Pucks Cafe, Bongo's or House of Blues which are nearby.

Hope this helps.

We too are doing late lunch, late dinner at Wolfgang Pucks after Cirque!

If you go early go for Wolfgang or Bongos. House of Blues food is OK but the place comes alive more at night with live entertainment.

Hi,
We too (me, dh, dd1 -10, dd2 -4 and ds - 8mths) are doing 6pm cirque show on 12th June. We have adrs for Planet Hollywood at 3.30pm - nice leisurely late lunch then on to the show! Have you been before? It is the best show in the world!!!!!
Claire.

If you plan on eating before the show, I would dine at the House of Blues. If you would like to eat after the show, I would dine at Wolfgang Puck's "Upstairs."

You'll love the show!

We were there last Friday night (saw the 9pm show) & it was great!

If you think you might want snacks...they have a special.
For $18.00 you get two souvenir buckets of popcorn & two souvenir soda bottles (free refills on the soda!).

No, we have not seen the show before. I'm only slightly bummed that DW and DDs will be watching without me while I stroll around the shops with DS 18 months, but that will be relaxing in its own right (no women!!!). :cool1:

It's going to be a surprise for them too, they don't know I bought the tix.

Planet Hollywood would probably suit everyone just fine. Although popcorn and soda - they'd find that yummy too.

At HOB,it is a must do for us each trip.We like going for a late lunch and DW loves the sweet potato fries.:goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

We are going to Wolfgang Puck's at 8:30 after La Nouba. We will be browsing the shops at DTD that afternoon so we'll get a heavy snack or lunch before the show, and maybe some popcorn while we are there.

I would recommend WGPC, as it's close to the Cirque tent, and they have very good food. I have gone to the 6 pm showing of La Nouba twice. Once we ate before the show, and once after the show. I personally preferred eating an early dinner, around 4:30ish. DTD really gets busy as the evening wears on, and we had quite a wait, beyond our ADR time, before being seated when we ate after the Cirque show. We didn't finish eating until close to 10:00, which is just too late for me. I hate going to bed on a full stomach.
