When I made reservations for Les Chefs de France it stated (Your party may be seated at more than one table ). I dont want to be seated at different tables with an 8 year old. Has this happened to anyone ? We will be going Dec 13th it's suppose to be a best day on the crowd calendar do you think it will be so crowded we will have to do this ?

I think that this is standard wording on any and all ADRs because it is always on mine, whether I make the ADR for as few as 4 or as many as 10 people. I suppose that it isn't impossible to be separated, just like a lightning strike is not impossible. ;)

Of the couple dozen TS dinners that we have ever been to, even with a party of 8 at Thanksgiving last year, we have never been split up.

That isn't standard wording. I got it for Chefs de France so I picked a different day and didn't get that message. We are only 3 people with an 11 year old. Maybe they don't really split your or they would accomodate a family with children, but I didn't want to take a chance.

We got that same wording on our Tusker House ADR. We also only have 3 people, me, dh and our 4 year old. Surely they would not seperate us? I hope not.

1) For parties under six, it rarely happens.
2) But, it certainly does occur sporadically.
3) However, for four or less, I doubt you would ever experience it.

I got that wording too, on only one of my ADR. We are a party of
three, DD is 13. How are they going to split us up? I didn't
worry about it with a party of 3 !

We got the same wording for a 50s PT ADR with a party of 4. I just decided to keep it and see what happens.

I have gotten this message in the past, I remember specifically at Brown Derby, and we didn't have any problem once we got there. We are a party of 3, DD was 4 then. I figured if they tried to split us up, I'd tell them to let DD sit alone :rotfl2:

I wouldn't worry too much about it with a party of 3. I think most tables seat 4 anyway.
