For our trip last October, my husband decided to go to Chef's at the last minute. We made several ADR's, but when we walked by Chef's one night, he decided to see if we could get in for the next day. He was very lucky and we were looking forward to it. I read alot on the boards and kept telling my husband.

The dinner started great! Service was a little slow, but I ordered the French Onion soup and thought I died and went to heaven. I think my mind totally left when I placed my entree order. I am not a "big" fish eater and I decided to go with Scallops and black tiger shrimp. When I tasted it, I was so disappointed. I think I licked the soup bowl since I was still hungry. The entree had a very distinct "fishy" oder that I could nto get around.

So, I thought that the dinner could be redeemed by order the apple crepe. My husband did as well since everyone seemed to like them. They arrived and my husband and I took our first bite and looked at each other. I think to this day, that they forgot something in the recipe. It tasted very old. I was so disappointed.

My husband stated that he would not go back. I would not mind trying it again, since it started off very well and the worng turn was started by me.

I am not a picky eater and will try anything.
