Your opinion on teen motherhood

"sodomy" is illegal in most states. these old laws just get lost in the books and forgotten about. i mean, how do you even regulate the legal sexual positions?:confused3

Your perverted next door neighbor reports you? xD

What on earth do you think a judge would do when faced with that?

Actually, sodomy is legal in most states now.

There was a case in 2003 (Lawrence v. Texas) where sodomy laws were largely re-evaluated.

In the Lawrence v. Texas case, the police were called to a house for something (I believe it had to do with weapons), and when the police came in the house they found Lawrence and his partner having sex.

^ "If one is not married, it is illegal for him to have sexual relations."

it was the first I'd heard of it too.
Any person, not being married, who voluntarily shall have
sexual intercourse with any other person, shall be guilty
of fornication, punishable as a Class 4 misdemeanor.
^ the more times I read it, the more I laugh.

Wow that is INSANE.

Fornication...has anyone read or seen Where the Heart Is? "Please forgive us for fornicating on this here table"

Seeing that word makes me think of that and laugh.

I really have to wonder what would happen if they seriously charged someone with fornication.

if i'm not very mistaken, its still illegal in tn (where i live) but i could be wrong.

its great that they're turning over these old stupid laws though.

I'm not sure if it's legal or not in TN, but I know in most places it is. The laws relating to sodomy still seem a bit fuzzy, especially seeing how it can be quite controversial. I know some of the midwest/southern states (TX, OK, KS - states in that area) had very strict laws regarding sodomy, and those were deemed unconstitutional. I don't think they really prosecute people on sodomy anymore, especially since the Lawrence v. Texas case.
