We orderd the model of the 20,000 leagues under the sea sub... wonderful piece!
BUT............
It came broken...
We were going to keep it and repair it ourselves until we realized that the set of glasses it came with was not a complete set. They doubled up on one and left out another. So we returned both items and they sent new ones..well at least I thought it was new! When I looked carefully I realized the sub we got back was repaired!
But it was done well and when dispalyed you could not notice it. The glasses were right this time too. I had actually worried that we wouldnt get a replacement because they had been sold out of this since the first week they came out. They are already on ebay for $100 more than we paid. At this point I was glad to have one!
I do have to say that the packing job was not great.. the box it came in was loosely packed with paper and Im sure thats why it broke in the first place because it bounced around so much.
I do not think theres anything wrong with Disney giving new shoes and a GC.... If they didnt try to "make nice" then they would be accused of not caring.
Them making good a mistake is NOT what makes their prices high!
BTW.... theres no dead mouse hiding in the shoes is there? If he got in there to poop how did he get out again?.... Unless they sealed the bag AFTER he pooped..then they are really not paying attention!!!
