Your "Ideal" number of nights stay at WDW

I won't go less than 14 days, and push it to about 18 days. :D We like to take our time in the parks, and and spend a lot of time at the resort: boating, swimming, laying around. ;) Oh and twice a year is better. :hyper:

But than again, ANY WDW TRIP IS BETTER THAN NONE!!!!::MickeyMo

I like to stay for at least 8 days ... On our first trip we stayed for 6 days and felt rushed trying to get everything done.

We used to go to Disney once a year and stay for 10-11 nights. But after several years of this, we now go for 6-8 nights 2 times a year. I like this better than staying for 10 nights straight. :sunny:

9 sounds about right, since that is what we will be doing this summer, never stayed more than 7 before. We seem more relaxed about our schedule with the extra days.

The first trip was 4 nights which was WAAAY too short. The next trip was 6 nights with better flight times (arrived early afternoon, departed early evening) so we felt like we got fairly full days on the travel days too.

BUT! We still felt 6 nights was too short. I would agree with the others that 9-10 nights is probably about right to do everything and not feel rushed. My budget won't allow it though. Our next trip is 7 nights with similar flights as last time.

If you're staying for longer periods of time, one thing I would suggest is try to budget in a nice sit down meal every other day. Near the end of our last trip, even my kids were getting tired of burgers and chicken strips! :D
