:cloud9: Always looking for new tips so...
What is your favorite 'beauty spot' in DL? Where do you just like to sit and take in the view? (feel free to post a couple if you can't choose one)

Mine:
The benches in the hub. Great people watching and encircled by the beauty of DL.

Oooooh, good question.
The outside patio area of Riverbelle Terrace. We like to eat breakfast out there and people watch, and enjoy the scenery of the rivers of America.
Also when we eat at carnation cafe on main street. It's neat to watch the street cars, and horses go by.

There are a few places we like to sit. MS is one, we also like to sit on the bench outside the pin shop in Frontierland, over by the wishing well, we don't sit but we like to just be there for a while. :) In DCA we like to sit outside Off the Page or across the street (towards Monsters Inc) and slightly around the corner, there are benches built into the wall there and they are great to just sit on.

Oh oh! Easy! On the little walls right at the edge of the Rivers of America in New Orleans Square.

People, boats, ducks, music, all on the riverfront. Feels like I have escaped to a nature park somewhere. Have lost many hours there. :)

P.S. For any fellow ex-VMKers here, same favorite spot in game. :goodvibes

By the river in New Orleans Square!

And on the benches under the old Peoplemover track in Tomorrowland, at night when all the lights come on!

Any of the Bench's on main street with a frozen banana or cup of hot coca. I also like to chillax by riding the train round and round. There's also a Cafe in new Orleans square that faces the rivers of America its a great beauty spot.

Our favorite spot is on the Mark Twain River Boat. Does that count as a spot?
When ever we get to the park, we go and get 2 coffees and 2 snackies and head right for the boat. We usually sit on that bench with the little riser on the second floor. We sit and drink our coffee and have our snackies and it feels like our only little private table. we wave to the folks on the river banks. Our second favorite place to sit and people watch is that bench on main street in front of that storefront next to the sillouette studio.

For a changing and fun view of DCA, I like sitting on the seat in the raft of Grizzly River Run. :) Day and night. Wear a poncho, though, and have a change of shoes, b/c one can get wet. :)

I just like being in NOS, don't have to sit down to enjoy it.

In thinking about this, I think I stroll to enjoy the environment, I don't tend to sit, b/c if I'm tired enough to sit then it's very very hard to get back up. :)

I am the same way! :thumbsup2

The porch on Main Street (with ice cream from Gibson Girl).

A table outside Riverbelle Terrace (while eating pancakes).

A bench outside the Golden Horseshoe (while sharing a turkey leg)

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail bench (with a churro)

Carnation Plaza Gardens on Saturday nights to watch the Jump, Jive, Boogie & Swing dancers (with a Dole Whip!)

Snacking and resting/people watching go hand in hand for me.

I love that you have the certain snack for the particular spot...too cute! popcorn::

On the benches on Main Street right in the hub. My favorite! Even more my favorite with popcorn. :)

Smack dab on a curb on Main Street.......typically right in front of Gibson Girl! :thumbsup2

The porch on Main Street
The benches outside of TOT
The benches in front of Matterhorn

Sitting at the end of Main Street in front of the castle when its dark, but I have my back turned to the castle so I am looking right down Main Street. It's so gorgeous to see people walking around the sparkly trees around the hub, some people dancing, some singing to the happy music playing. There is nothing more relaxing.

Anywhere on the Rivers of America waterfront, anytime of day. :)

So many good memories and such a pleasant way to spend time.

The Hungry Bear has some tables by the Rivers; they are by the canoe docks.

The view from the Sunwheel is good.

Also, Ariel's grotto.., the view of the lake is very nice.

I too, vote for the Hungry Bear. It was so nice at night over the holidays when the rest of the park was just packed. Too bad the food isn't better! It might be worth it to drag a meal over there from somewhere else. :)

I also like sitting outside Burr Bank Ice Cream in DCA with a cone.

The picnic tables on Tom Sawyers Island. It's fun to look over at the mainland and see all the people walking by while sitting in a fairly secluded spot.
