Your favorite entree at Jazz Kitchen and Carnation Cafe?

What is your favorite dinner entree at the Jazz Kitchen and Carnation Cafe? We're also going to Blue Bayou for lunch, but I already know I'm getting the Monte Cristo there (unless you recommend otherwise!!)! Thanks!!

Having dealt with Jazz Kitchen a lot (two friends work there) I honestly say ask the server what is best on the day. 99% of the time they can tell you what is best by the cooks, season and more.

I am veggy so I can tell you only what friends say

Rosemary Chicken is dull and not special enough to pick

I have heard the Lobster Ravoli, NY Steak, Filet Mignon, Catfish and Salmon are all wonderful. I also have heard the Crawfish Potatos are the BEST. My pregnant friend lived on them hahaha!!

Definetly do Desserts they have some of the best!!!!

I only had the beignets at the Jazz Kitchen (YUM!!!), so can't help you there. But, I did enjoy a couple of meals at Carnation Cafe - I really enjoyed the pot pie (we had the seasonal beef stroganoff one, and it was really, really good), and also the baked potato soup. That soup is awesome!! I had mine with a half sandwich on pretzel bread, and it was filling and delicious. I'm planning to order it again when we go this year.

Definetly do Desserts they have some of the best!!!!

The double chocolate bread pudding at Brennan's is amazing. It takes 15-20 minutes after order because it is individually made. But it is oh so good if you are a chocolate lover.

Right now at the Jazz Kitchen the blackened salmon is my favorite - really good. The jambalaya is also good, as is the shrimp dish. I didn't much care for the potatoes with my dinner, so now I just ask for veggies & get the asparagus - delish
