Your are cordially invited to......

I agree - I think if you pay OOP for brft.(Boma, CP, CM, & Kona) it would be about $330, as ooposed to HDDR & Kona +CM - $370.(as PP said, check allears.net for exact pricing). This isn't saving you a huge amt., but you can use that towards an extra CS or brft. at Pop! You're still way under DXDP, but you also have to figure in your brfts & lunch at Pop as well. HTH!

I have to agree with you guys now (I origionally said the Hoop) looked at the prices for 2 TS breakfasts and 2 breakfasts would be cheeper the HDDR. If it was 1 TS breakfast and 1 TS dinner then HDDR would be the better OOP. But its best to check the menu prices and see what you may purchace.

Plan to use some snack credits for small meals. Stop in a park bakery on the way out and pick up something for breakfast, like cinnamon rolls from the Main Street Bakery or schoolbread from Norway in Epcot. They'll package it nicely for you too if you tell them you're taking the goodies back to your resort.

Happy anniversary! :)

Once again someone else has read my mind as I have come to the conclusion that I will have to pay OOP for a couple of meals even w/ the DP. I agree w/ one of the prev posts. I would pay OOP for breakfast as they are the cheaper of the three meal choices. :thumbsup2 We are hoping to do at least 2 character breakfasts and bank those 2 credits each for a :worship: CRT dinner if we get it.

Cinderella isn't at all meals at CRT. I would think about Askerhus if you are going to Epcot. There are all the princesses there. We were going to have a dinner there(CRT) and they told us only the Fariry Godmother was going to be there.

really not trying to beat a dead horse but you do realize you still have 8 TS credits planned and only get 7 each don't you? Plan goes by nights stayed not days & I'm pretty sure you're only booked for 7 nights. If it were me, I'd just bite the bullet and go deluxe, WAAAAYYY too much math involved for me.

finally, someone who agrees with me re: biting the bullet and upgrading to deluxe! LOL!

but, I gotta tell ya Gigi, DxDDP is not for me & DD. We have all we can handle to finish the regular DDP and I think Diane is crazy to try and eat everything she has listed. BUT if she's gonna do it, might as well go deluxe!!;)

The daughter wants to eat in the castle...and Cinderella IS always at the castle. You meet her and get a picture with her before you go up for your meal. And they have now changed the line-up so that ALL meals, including dinner, are princess meals at the castle. It used to be just the fairy godmother & mice maids at dinner, but this has recently been changed.

When I went in November it wasn't yet changed. Good to know for next time.

I personally would not go to CRT, but I understand wanting to do it once!(It took us 2 years to snag a ressie)

I would dump Chef Mickey breakfast, and perhaps Kona breakfast...you can get Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's...if that is the attraction. (You could also share plates at Kona, but not a buffet.)

Breakfast foods are less expensive, but not very sustaining! If you have quick service breakfast, you might share...Lunch at Crystal Palace an option? I think that would give you a greater variety, more filling options, and not cost much more.

have you considered upgrading to the deluxe plan? we did a few years ago and it was sooo sooo worth it!!

I was going to suggest the same thing. If you're going to pay OOP, take a look at the cost of doing that vs. just upgrading to Deluxe. It could come out even for you.

we're just agreeing all over the boards these days :)

i agree that she's very meal-heavy... it's going to be a run from meal to meal and hopefully fit in a ride or show between meals... which is why i said back in the beginning if she was going to go OOP for some meals, use the credits up before she does, so that when she gets tired of eating (or running to meals!) she won't have unused credits and an empty wallet! LOL!
