Hi everyone,

I'll be back at Epcot next week! So excited. I always like to try something new in the various countries, but never actually make it to all of the yummy "to do's" on my list.

Anyway, what are your favorite snacks to get from World Showcase? Not meals - actual snacks...either from a kiosk, quick service restaurant, or one of the shops. I've been wanting (for years!) to finally get a Kaki Gori...are they actually good? Or just your run of the mill snow cone?

Thank in advance...can't wait to hear about your favorites! :cutie:

Kaki Gori-which is so much better than a regular snow cone. I always get cherry. Yum!

Chocolate mousse from France

My kids love the Kaki Gori - it seems a step up from a normal snow cone.

I love the ham and cheese croissant (warmed) in the French bakery - that can serve as lunch for me too but I've been known to eat one just as a snack too.

The french horns in the French bakery are delicious too. The have something that looks similar in Norway but it's not nearly as good.

If you like chocolate candy, Curleywhirleys are a favorite from England and Daim bars from Norway.

My favorite "snack" is a pint from Rose and Crown, but that's just me!

Germany- Hot pretzel, Strudel, German Chocolate Cookie, Chocolate from the Candy case

France-Anything & Everything!

Norway-Melkesjokolad chocolate bars-we haven't tried the bakery yet.

China- Egg Rolls.

Rember this at Canada !
BeaverTails was franchisee that Disney dropped in 2004.

They were a tasty pastry stretched into the shape of a beaver's tail, fried and served hot. The tail was topped with butter and any choice of cinnamon sugar, maple butter, apple cinnamon or chocolate hazelnut.

Ugh! I had just found out about these right before one of my trips (thanks to the DIS) and when we got to Epcot, they were gone! It was right when Disney stopped making them. I will never know the goodness that was a beavertail.

I am definitely going to try a kaki gori this time!

here's school bread on the left & sweet almond pretzel on the right...both from Kringla Bakeri in Norway. The school bread is a bread, kind of like a white-bread roll - the filling in the middle is like vanilla pudding, and then there's a light sweet glaze on top sprinkled with toasted coconut (picture is from before when they just used white coconut...it's toasted coconut now.) The sweet pretzel is just a regular large soft pretzel, but covered with a sweet glaze & heavily sprinkled with almonds. We like both very much! Also like the irish coffee at Kringla Bakeri on a cold day (very, very boozy though!)

School bread is so popular on these boards! I liked it a lot but could have done without the fillling (strange, I know). Those pretzels are really good!

School Bread from Norway and Pretzel from Germany. Germans do pretzels right! ;)

I don't know if it counts as a snack, but I have become addicted to Pocky from the store in Japan.

Everything is good at Kringla but my favorite is Lefse. This is very filling, traditional and delicious.

You can't go wrong with a chocolate mousse from France either.

DW & I have a serious sweet tooth so every trip to Epcot we stock up on the Cadbury bars (Flake, the honeycomb one etc) They are sooo good. Germany has a great selection of chocolate too.

I havn't seen it but France backery used to make this rum soaked doughnut .. god it was good. Likely too many people were woozy and left to take a nap.
